Bijou's legs stiff and painful. Nasty bit (unconfirmed spider bite) on leg, very infected. Called in sick (rare for Bijou). Neighbor drops by at midnight. She poor Native person. We have a deal where she gets cigarettes and I get beadwork. (She does nice beadwork, eh). Bijou turns to re-enter apartment (3 steps down to door...concrete) and his legs lock the f*** up. Bijou falls like tree cut by lumberjack. Lands full on left side. Friggin' OWW!!
After a couple of hours (seriously, the fall hurt, like, holy sh**) of recovery I walk to hospital. Yeah, enough cash for expected meds or taxi, not both. Hospital is normally a 15 minute walk away. This walk takes 50. Four (4) oxy for pain. Antibiotics for abscessed area. Left to drain with gauze cover. Arm still stiff as hell. Somehow, no bruises.
(Leg heals in 4 days; thanks Obama!!)

Bijou at work. Back muscle spasms, like, why-does-God-hate-me-owchie-wawa!! Bijou notices he's word-swapping (fish instead of Friday, for instance) a sure sign that his blood O2 saturation is in trouble (ordinarily an LOW blood pressure issue). Checks blood pressure @5pm. 160/100. Ouch. @5:30pm - 165/110. Crap. *skip*skip* @7pm 180/122.WTF??
Bijou goes to hospital where they suspect heart attack. Not a heart attach...maybe. Anywho, a drop o' morphine finally kills the spasm and the BP drops to a manageable 150/95 and Bijou goes home.

Two days in a row the group assigned to come cook 6pm meals no-shows. We skip 6pm meal on the 27th as we had been feeding for hours earlier. Today, we end up ordering pizza for 120 and serve canned fruit cocktail. Comes out of staff (our) pockets, but we'll get that back eventually.
How you doin'?
