If you're good at something, never do it for free.

I spend a great deal of my time on support forums for Minecraft server and mod related problems. Using my experience, I help people with problems ranging from incredibly face-palm worthy simple solutions to working through some very bizarre and complicated **********************

Just now, as in minutes ago, I have discovered this new service with Google that might actually pay me to help people with these problems.

Supposedly this has been around for quite a while already, and from what I can see there is no competition in my field. The downside is, I am being forced to wait for some "invitation code" which may or may not be happening. This may just be one of those things like Google+ that some people may have heard of but nobody actually uses.

Any thoughts?

I agree that you should always be paid for something you can do. Though if it is anything like Google+ there probably won't be much of a market.

I'm tired of helping people.

Can you hire people to help you help other people?

They're called foundations.

Or mercenaries depending how lax your definition of help is.

I suppose mercenaries might work, the import thing is to stop the whining. Helping is really a secondary objective.

The mercenaries will do just fine as long as you're willing to overlook the crimes against humanity.

I prefer the term "minions". Just has a nice ring to it.
