Update to 29.0, lose the addon bar (at least there was already an addon I could download to add the addon bar...) and then make it so I can't move the Reload/Stop button to the left side of the address bar. What good does it do me on the right hand side, across 12 inches of blank white space in the middle of no where.

Haven't found a good addon that puts that Reload/Stop button back into the customization. Kind of found one, but didn't like it too much.

I haven't had any issues, although I'm not 100% sure what version I'm on, the latest as of yesterday anyway.

Mine just updated....and yes I can now understand the horror of 29.

For me the most important thing was that the update did not break a website for work any further than it's already been broken by IE11 and Chrome. Project to fix it isn't scheduled til August. As long as it works on Firefox, we're not completely boned.

You broke my custom Stylish setup. I hope you're happy.

I don't mind the button positioning, but I hate that it suddenly looks like Chrome. I never liked the way Chrome looked, and now Firefox looks that way too.

Removed most of the interface bloat so far, and almost back to where I started before.

Are you also running Windows '95?

Windows 7 minus the sparkles. I've considered moving to 8, but been too lazy to transfer over.

I can handle the cosmetic changes, and I can even get used to the refresh button being stuck off to the side. What I hate is the little menu button on the far right that I can't make go the hell away. I keep the menu bar on the top of the screen, I don't need an annoying little button that does a worse job of getting me to the same functions.

You can get rid of it. Download the Stylish addon and then use the script:

#PanelUI-menu-button,
{display:none!important}

I've gotten rid of most of the other buttons I don't like with:

#appmenu-button,
#appmenu-toolbar-button,
#back-button,
#forward-button,
#go-button,
#alltabs-button,
#TabsToolbar toolbarbutton,
#urlbar > toolbarbutton,
#star-button,
#PanelUI-menu-button,
#identity-box,
.autocomplete-history-dropmarker,
.tab-close-button,
.tab-icon-image
{display:none!important}

Firefox seems to hang up when ever I exit now too. Then the next time I try to run it it says it's already running and I have to end process from the Task Manager.

Hasn't bothered me enough to go disable addons one at a time to figure out which is causing it or if it's Firefox doing it.

I've had the same issue with FF lately, except its not showing up in Task Manger either.

Mine would do that occasionally. Since I updated, it stopped.

I figured out which add-on is doing it. Must be a compatibility issue with 29.0, because 28.0 didn't have this issue.

It was a Speed Dial addon I've used forever. Probably going to try a different one.

Edit:
Spoke too soon. Must be memory related, a bug with Firefox itself, not any specific addons. Any individual one won't cause it, but as soon as Firefox gets up in memory usage, closing it causes it to fail and stay active in the background...

I had no add-ons before and none after. Eh; FF is confused, I guess.
