Job security for the gas pumpers. Next we'll be required to pay for phone sanitizers or something.

I'd pay 3500 leaves for a sanitary phone!

No, imagine my surprise when I jumped out of the car and wasn't allowed to.

Full service, or just full service? Nameen? A Pump-n-Pump station? Right, right?

We've been pumping our own gas since World War 2.

I've pumped my own gas maybe twice in my life.

Gotta love being a full service state. Especially this winter.

Don't you have to get out of the car to pay, anyway? Or does the service guy carry around a wireless card reader?

Our pumps have readers in them, so you just hand him your card and he hands it right back.

We have both available here and since self-serve is cheaper, and I'm Canadian, I do self serve.

Full service in my area is cheaper, I think it has something to do with that place having their employees offer to grab stuff from the convenience store section while they are swiping for gas.

It's mostly self serve here, but I don't think the full serve are any different for price.

Actually the full service one that I use is a coop so I get a cheque from them at the end of every year, and the gas initially is the same price as anywhere else.

Same here, except full-serve is the same price as self-serve, should be going pre-pay only soon if the rumours going around when I left Shell were based on anything realistic.

When I play I have a hard time stopping playing for any reason, including saving. I also can't put down a book until I finish it.

Oh, man, so much this, and it extends to TV/movies as well. Once I open a book, or sit down in front of the computer/TV, I completely lose track of everything happening around me, including the sun setting and rising. After I got a job, it's been less extreme, because my desire to remain employed is keeping it in check, but I used to skip entire weeks of classes just to marathon a game/book/TV series.

I've had this "issue" for as long as I can remember. My parents have a video clip of me when I was maybe 7 years old. I'm watching something on TV and I literally forget to breathe at one point.
