Yes. Its 600 watts. Sufficient for a single card setup. If you might ever go crossfire you will want a bigger one

/shrug. Thermaltake is usually pretty good for power supplies. I don't use them alot though. Wattagewise, and warrantywise that power supply would work for your system. if you want something bulletproof buy a high end Enermax Power supply. For a budget option, maybe this antec? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371059 I have a bunch of them in engineering PC's (40 of them actually) and they have all been solid so far. We usually go with a 750 watt unit or so, but those were on sale when we bought them. They've been in service about a year and a half now give or take. Most of the rest of the fleet is on Antec 750 watt units, with a few enermax PSU's thrown in on some higher end boxes.

If you want to make an investment for future upgrades and have a solid power supply that can take anything you can throw at it with a great warranty and even better anti damage capabilities, get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194101

Yeah I'm mostly just looking for a 600 watts one you probably seen my other post I got a pc off newegg that came with that radeon 7770 card (which requires 500) and the power supply was 400 soly tech so been seeing which one I can get to replace that. Hopefully they replace it due to their own fault but guess I find out. I'm getting the thermaltake installed in the pc now but I just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't fry my pc or anything bad like that thats why I was looking to see if I should go for a better quality psu named brand instead.

I've used Thermaltakes in the past, and they're a pretty solid PSU. I tend to go through them fairly quickly, but that may be normal since my PC used to run 24/7.

Is there any good psu at bestbuy or do they only sell bad ones ? Also do you think I should try to get 80 Cert bronze or it doesn't matter that much beside lower the power bill. The Specs on my pc is I5 4670k (3.4 GHZ) with amd radeon 7770 HD 1GB Card it has 5 fans (If you count psu fan + video card fan) Windows 7 8 Gigs of ram and I been playing FF14 among other high-end like Archeage when it comes out. Was thinking 600 watt power supply would be enough for now I wont be SLI/Cross fire. The power supply that came with it when I would launch FF14 it would give me Display Drivers has failed and recovered I tried 3-4 diff types of them and still had same problem. I wouldn't get that message til I started up a game. The power supply that came with it was a no name brand Soly Tech 400 Watts.

best buy doesn't carry a lot of "parts" for computers at all, but they might have a few Antec Power supplies on hand. It will really vary by store though. Most Cooler Master PSU's also work quite well, though there are a few of those to avoid too.

No name generic power supplies are typically rated much higher than the wattage they actually put out anyways. A 400 watt Soly Tech may only be able to output peak 400 watts for a few seconds, the rest of the time its probably only capable of 250 watt sustained output. There are a few exceptions to that rule, but its better to get a good power supply then a cheap one.

Well on bestbuy.com they seem to sell all kinds of power supplies up to like 300+ I know they might not be at the store but probably could order it. I just want a psu that won't crap out on me in like six months and take out my pc with it or anything like that. The thermaltake is like 75 bucks so it should be decent for that price but then again not sure.

two of them are Antec and two are corsair don't know if any of these are good and I should replace the thermaltake I'm getting with one of these instead? The reviews on thermaltake TR2-600NL2NC listed here http://www.bestbuy.com/site/TR2-600NL2NC+ATX12V+%26+EPS12V+Power+Supply/5381884.p?id=1218635882854&skuId=5381884&st=Thermaltake%20TR2-600LN2NC&cp=1&lp=1#tab=reviews has 4.3 stars.

Corsair makes good PSU's Don't get the Antec 500 watt, it's too close to your minimum required wattage. Any of the other three should be fine.

Make sure you have the latest/most stable drivers for that card/game.

Try rolling back to an earlier driver, I know LoL kep crashing on newer Nvidia drivers for some stupid reason. I would take a look and go back 1-2 drivers (If you dont first try the latest drivers) If you keep crashing on every driver you try. I may just be a faulty card, those happen sometimes.

In that event call Gigabyte explain whats happening, explain what you've done to remedy it. THen explain you believe the video card is at fault and you would like a replacement (Since its in warranty) almost every manufacture will send you a new one and you send the old one back in the same box least thats what XFX did (they even sent me a nice shirt ). Hopefully its not the card and just a faulty driver.

Yeah I thought it was the psu at first because everyone I talked too before posting on here said the card requires 500 watts and they gave me the amd website so I went out and got a new psu then I crash again. I'm dling more games to make sure its not just one game where i'm crashing, I tried 8.9 I tried 9.012 12.0 something I tried driver program that removes if any drivers are remaining been trying to fix this since thursday. I looked on micosoft website and they got this fix it thing that supposely fixes the problem but I see. According to newegg when I looked up the card its Discontinued. The psu that came with it can't find online and Video card no longer sold seems like Ibuypower just made this pc out of w/e they can find. I should try to get my money back maybe instead.

At this point you should probably reload windows or replace the video card. The former is more effort and may not work, the latter involves warranty and RMA and down time. ATI drivers are notorious for sucking badly to troubleshoot though. ANd the under watt power supply you had before may very well have damaged the video card.

Yeah if the psu they gave me before damaged the card its their own fault and they should fix it or give me my money back I will be calling them tomorrow. I got 600 watt psu and same problem so it can't be the psu. which I thought. Also I lowered the High Performance GPU / clock setting down some and I could play the game little bit longer but it still frozen and then got the same display driver error.

Huh. Check the video card fan with the side of the case open, and see if it is spinning. Lowering the performance settings would lower the heat output. if the fan is stuck or broken, that would explain things. also check speedfan and see how hot the video card is running at idle.
