They didn't unlock the Plague Quarter until 11:59 PM PST on Tuesday night. So while they were saying Tuesday, they really meant Wednesday.

I assume the others will go much the same.

Heroic Loatheb can go die in a fiery pit of hell. It took me probably 50+ tries to get him down, Starting off with a 3/6 taunt and a 3 dmg hero power for 0 and he always goes 2nd.

The way I beat him was Luck + priest cheese. All 1-3 cost spells creatures, and hoped I got a Shadow Word pain to to out the taunt 2nd turn, or the combo of Boar with charge + Holy smite to pop the spore to kill it.

If I didnt get the 2nd combo He was guaranteed 6 dmg to me, but 75% time he would pull out 1~2 of those >NSFW< GOD DAMN, @#%^ING CHEAP ***, ***** 1 cost 2/3 Deathsteads or w/e the horse is called with Charge, with the deathrattle 3 dmg to player if it dies. Because you know he has 99 health. So sometimes first turn he would take 10 life from you, and have fun stopping him next turn with your 2 mana.

The worst part is if you overcame the starting board, and he didnt have any steeds or you managed to take out his played cards, He would A) Trent all your creatures (after you buffed them up with spores), B) Copy your spore buffed up creature and 1 shot you next turn, C) You were 3> health because previous rounds of play he got you down.

Heigan wasn't so bad a few changes to that priest cheese deck, like having Stoneskin Gargoyles ((3)1/4; Regens to full health at the beginning of your turn + Divine spirit + PW: Shield or Inner fire. And it nulls his Hero Power (3 dmg to the first creature on the left ). Then a few silences to stop his demons and a little luck hoping the starting board demon summons something small and stupid when you kill it.

I went to bed then. Seriously though F~ Loatheb

I did the new stuff last night. I really had fun with the new bosses (on normal difficulty). I beat the first with my Rogue and the last two with hunter. The first boss took me a three or four tries (had to dump the Hunter for the Rogue - minions were bad), but loatheb dropped one of his spores right off so I threw out a bunch of little minions and ended up with 5 minions with +10 damage on the board on turn 5 I think. He didn't last long after that.

The Hunter challenge was the best though....SPIDERS!!!

I'm building a Shaman deck for ranked play starting this season.

Any advice?

Out of curiosity, do you have any Legendaries of note?

It depends on how you like to play. If you are comfortable building and maintaining a significant board presence, a Bloodlust build can work very well. If you have access to some of the Naxx cards, they can help significantly, particularly the Nerubian Egg and Haunted Creeper, as they take a bit to completely clear. Harvest Golem is good for this too.

I only have Hogger and Onyxia. I did use Hogger in Shaman deck, but just pulled it out and replaced it with the new taunt card (5/4 I think, that spawns another taunt on death). Onyxia is a pretty useless card for me as i usually run agro decks. I should dust it and try and make something more useful, but the dust recovery rate discourages me from destroying cards.

I reworked and started playing the Shaman deck last night - won 7 out of 8 games. That was just in casual though; not terribly representative of ranked. It knocks down zoo decks pretty good - which is encouraging. The new sleeper cards work really well with the shammy.

Guys, do the Hunter challenge if you haven't yet. It's really easy if you can mulligan it properly.

I've done the Hunter challenge like three times since beating it. Just cuz it's fun.

The Shaman is still promising. I was having difficulty in ranked play - lost my bit of rank I'd gained for August. I had to dust some cards and made a Doomhammer. That's helped, though the deck still doesn't seem very competitive.

I haven't done it yet. I only played enough yesterday to get my daily quest done.

I figure I'll save the content for the weekend.

So far I have finished everything the three quarters have to offer, except the heroic bosses. Somehow those do not appeal to me much. The boss design is nice but the AI often plays painfully bad.

Y'know, opening the bosses up to be PVP options would be a cheap way to add more content. It wouldn't be part of the ladder, but one player would have the boss deck and the other whatever deck they built. Could be fun.

Also, I actually almost lost on my first attempt at the Horsemen. I didn't, but I was worried. Finally pulled out an owl, which let me strip the effect from the last horseman instead of killing him, so I could just punch the hero instead (the shield is a card effect of the horsemen minions)

Construct Quarter has opened yesterday. Patchwerk was a nice change of pace. With an unmodified deck he can be quite the pain.

Dunno how I never noticed it before, always in a hurry I guess, but after Googlin' some info on an unrelated matter....you can reroll one daily quest a day!
So when you get a 40 gold one, you can opt to reroll it in hopes of getting one of the (rarer) higher gold daily quests, by clicking the tiny red x in the upper right hand corner of that quests display box.

Small detail, but it's the little things in life.....

I don't even reroll them for the gold issue. I reroll them because "ew, no, I don't want to do that."

Know what's crap? Baron Rivendare's effect isn't multiplied with multiple Barons. I would have just beat Grobbulus on my Mage if I knew that.

Got two Barons back from my secret, played them with a Nerubian Egg, took the egg out with my hero power AND 2 Nerubians. Not 4.

I had read that somewhere.

I'm slowing down on this game. I've only done the first two wings of Naxx. I'm still logging in every day to get my daily quests done, but that's about all.

Maybe after vacation I'll be re-invigorated.

I'm slowing down, but the opposite way. I did Naxx, but I consistently don't do dailies.

I still do the dailies but I always wait till I have three of them and then do all of them at once. Most of the time 2 or (if you're lucky) all 3 overlap, which can save you quite a bit of time.

Have done all of Naxx non-heroic now plus all class challenges. Also managed to beat the first four heroic bosses. Those sure are tough!

I'd say I have a decent cardpool but some legendaries/epics and even some rares are missing or in case of the epics and rares I only have one. With the decks I can throw together it took me 15-20 tries for each of those bosses, maybe some more for Noth. And that was after reading up on suggested decks and building as close as I could to those.

I'm not sure if I will push until I have every heroic boss down. It just can get so frustrating. Has anybody here cleared everything?

Since there aren't heroic rewards, I probably won't attempt them at all, tbh.
