I am really digging Kingdoms of Amalur...

It is a lot more enjoyable on the hotel HD TV where it doesn't look like it was made in MS paint (like on my tiny crappy LCD TV)

It's a shame that game was so damn easy even on the hardest setting.

I watched the Hobbit this weekend too and had the same thought about Lotro.

meanwhile, I put it on the easy setting, and I love how easy it is, cause I don't actually play video games to be challenged.

I really wanted to get the new Monster Hunter game for the 3DS, but everything I am reading is saying that the camera is awful without a Circle Pad Pro, and I don't really want to spend $60 total ($40 for the game, $20 for the accessory) on it. Plus, I really like the Power Grip, since it extends the playtime of my 3DS. Maybe I'd grab a Circle Pad Pro if they put in a rechargeable cell like in the Power Grip. Most of the time that I'm playing a handheld, I'm away from a convenient charging area.

Age of Wushu is kind of growing on me. Everyone always says they want something different that is not a WoW clone. Well this is maybe the most different MMO system I have seen. The slow pace and different vibe are starting to seem like a charming thing.

You can download a demo on the eshop and see how it handles for yourself. It includes 2 or 3 battles.

Right now, I am "hopping" between different games, because still searching something that keeps my attention.

After stopping my WoW subscription, I tasted the free to play games. After some experience there, got the impression that subscription model is cheaper on the long run. Here my actual list:

Aion. I was there from the beta (yep, was keeping both WoW and Aion subs xD). And it still is something I return to, every now and then, because I still enjoy its gameplay and graphics.

GW2. As launched, I were addicted to this. Right now, I keep it updated but not play very often there.

Eden Eternal. Chibi characters and easy, I like it for being able let me relax, and cash options are in a price range I can afford. I am passing most of my time here, in this days.

Scarled Blade. Some action, PvP and looking at some candy pixels, why not, so playing there too, every now and then.

Then, in my radar are Tales Runner and Arcane Saga (ex Prius), still to open in next days. And I'm thinking every now and then, if is it better return to WoW :)

I would suggest Warhammer Online if you've not tried it. It was my favorite MMO for about 5 years. You can play free to level 10. Fifteen/month subscription. It's largely a player v player and realm v realm game, but the PvE content isn't bad.

I was in the mood for sonic and I had to fight the urge to Download adventure 2 onto my 360 so I got rush and Colors. I am surprised to find how challenging rush is. It's been awhile though I had to look in the play manual for anything. How to double jump was what was bewildering me.(R then hit up whaaaaa) I was happy to find Colors for the DS played differently then the wii, but sad to find that the strolling background noise in the form of Robotnik's commentary was gone. That was good for a mild laugh here and there.

Wow. It would take quite a bit to get used to those controls. I can definitely see the need for the CPP to control the camera. Using the d-pad stops me from moving, unless I use my forefinger for the analog stick and thumb for the d-pad.

I had "Ship Simulator Extreme" from some bundle and tried it last night for the lulz.

It was "extreme" in that I ran a cruise liner into a dock extremely slowly at which point it just sat there extremely still since, surprise!, cruise liners don't exactly back up and do a three-point turn.

In true Italian fashion, I looked at what I had done, said "nuts to this" and abandoned ship, quitting the game.

Yeah I am glad I tried the demo cause I was interested in getting the game but it was really hard to control and I didn't like it, so saved myself the money.

I love being able to get demos on the 3DS now.

I've been playing Monaco. Extended thoughts in the review in my sig (it's on NGN, not my blog, so the formatting should be more palatable to folks here).

It's a great little game. Mildly tense, chaotic multiplayer with a bevy of opportunities for ad-libbed teamwork. It captures the feel of a great heist movie, but in an arcade-y, abstract package.

If you check it out, play some online with me. I think I'm getting pretty good at it.

I was playing Terraria for a while since my kid got it for the PS3 and seeing it gave me the bug. Now I think I'm bored with it again. Trying to locate and collect enough adamantite to stop myself from dying isn't really an entertaining way to spend my free hours.

Monaco has been really fun so far, though I have only played a few stages. I think they did fairly well with the learning curve, and so far the stage length has been just right. I can play one or two if I have a few minutes.

SMITE, if you like the idea of LoL/DotA but were afraid to try them. Its a 3rd person MOBA, for the first few levels it will auto buy and spend your points (if you dont turn it off) so you can focus on playing and worry later about different builds. Im having a Blast the All Random All Mid games are fun as heck too. Idk check it out its F2P or you can spend 29.99 and that is everything in the game including the unreleased gods.

My brother gave me his XBAWKS, so I've been playing Happy Wars. It's pretty entertaining, but it takes a while to actually get into a match. The worst is when you finally get in one and the teams aren't balanced very well and you get steamrolled in a minute or two. Smiley: lol Other than that, it's pretty fun.

Oh, Battleblock Theater is entertaining, too.
