My suggestion for the Metro games (and STALKER, for that matter) is to play with Russian audio, and English subtitles.

Looping "Get out of here, Stalker!" might be less annoying in a language I don't understand.

Yes, I have patches/mods that do away with that anyway

Wait, I thought the season pass included ALL DLC? Isn't that the point of a season pass?

The season pass only covers the first 4 expansions. All characters and costume DLC are sold separately from the season pass.

Hmm Was checking in to see if any new May-hem deals on Amazon. Saw
Sonic Action Pack
9.99
  • Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles
  • Sonic 3D Blast
  • Sonic Adventure DX
  • Sonic CD
  • Sonic Generations Casino Night DLC
  • Sonic Generations
  • Sonic Spinball
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 2
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Isnt All star Racing New? if it is thats a pretty good package. I don't really care for thall the Old probably emulated better Genesis Sonics. But the rest would be nice to have.

Edit: Nvm the pack is only semi ok, The new racing game is Sonic and All Stars Racing transformed, that sucks :s

I bought BL2 even though I still suck at/dislike shooting games. /masochism

A friend told me it has girlfriend mode though. I am hoping that makes it easy enough to enjoy. If not, oh well. I downloaded the demo of blood dragon and I loved the music etc, but as soon as people started shooting at me in earnest I panicked and died. Then I had a sad.

You friend misinformed you, there is no girlfriend mode for the main game. What he's talking about is the BFF skill tree for the Mechomancer DLC character, which is literally designed to make a non-FPS player not suck while playing the game. Everything else is standard FPS fair.

Bioshock Infinite is on sale at Amazon for $35 which would be its best price since pre-order deals.

As far as I know (from what I remember), 'Girlfriend Mode' is the Mechromancer character (which you'd have to pay extra for). You can pretty much spec her out so her brobot does most of the work for you. That said, Siren and Soldier are probably the two easiest base classes to play. Anyway, the initial playthrough of the story shouldn't be too bad. The difficulty ramps up a bit the second run.

Crysis is today's final GamersGate EA franchise deal. I can pick up Crysis 3 for $28 if anyone is interested. Too rich for my blood since I haven't touched the franchise besides 15 minutes worth of Crysis but just letting you know.

For those that have bad luck in looting good weapons I recommend using the "profile.bin" trick under the Working Cheats section of the page. You won't get Legendaries, but the guns are decent for your current level.

So I probably got ripped off but: Remember I was selling my PS3 and some guy bought just the Console and Controllers for 150, well on a whim I gave my local Gamestop a call, the manager is one of my best friends cousin who I hung out with growing up. Anyway I decided to see what my games were worth trade in, came to like 75 bucks, not bad, but then he told me if I was trading in towards a used game I can get a 30% increase, and I borrowed my friends card for another 10% increase. Im not sure the exact numbers but it came out to 105.53. The game I traded in towards to increase my trade in value? Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock for 89 cents ! (Then I proceeded to trade it back in for 25 cents XD)

So I bought SC2 Expansion, 60 dollars in Steam Wallet, and a 5 dollar LoL starter card.

So overall while I didnt get cash like I wanted I found this to be acceptable. Blizzard Stuff rarely goes on sale, unless its through their own store, and while Steam doesnt have any great deals anymore, my account is now ready for Summer sales !

I have not bought Bioshock: Infinite yet, but I plan to buy it before the end of summer.

I know it's on sale now for $35, do we think the summer Steam sale will be able to at least match this? I know I've been disappointed the last few years...

I think it's likely that someone will match it. Might be Amazon again or Steam or someone else but I'd be surprised not to see it again for that price.

Yeah, they lied. Thankfully, I wanted to play the Mech class anyway and rolled my char as one not even knowing it was the "girlfriend mode" character. So when can I actually get some skills? I'm level 4 and I still have no skill points.

What's this and how do I abuse it? I just want to play the game as faceroll as possible. I figure if I -have fun- playing a FPS style game, I might actually accidentally get a little better at it. I've already stopped just letting those monsters throw rocks at me without dodging out of the way - I figure that's an improvement... ha ha ha

How ******* slow is Gamestop. I ordered this hours ago, and it still says "pending process"?

I just called them, they said it takes up to 24 hours for their process. Pretty bad for a digital distribution service. Even Origin doesn't suck this bad.

It only cost me $0.98 Apparently they had a $0.61 promotional discount ontop of the 9.00 discount to cover the sales tax, which only came out to $0.60.

Oh, and "up to 24 hours" is probably just their little caveat to cover hiccups like is happening now with your order, so you don't keep calling and bugging them. I'm sure it's usually instantaneous.

Edit:
Ya, I got my code in the time it took me to download and install gamestop's client.

Could be worse they could have 10 dollars of yours, they are probably out of keys because its a dollar, therefore everyone and there mother is trying to get it.

Speaking of pending orders, and idiot companies. I looked at my GamerGate ticket submitted on the 9th. Its finally being looked at Monday. Anyone wanna take odds on them "refunding" the 10 dollars and trying to put it back on a closed card? After I messaged them like 4 times I would rather have the blue coins added to my account or the 10k Blue coins giftable as I originally ordered. Smiley: oyvey
