Aside from a single rollback while I was fighting the last boss in a dungeon, I haven't encountered any bugs yet.

I never noticed any bugs, but then all I did last night was the new quest chain on my hunter main, and then play around with all the rest of my 90's cleaning up inventories and fixing all my action bars (holy removed skills batman!). Reagent bank tab is awesome.

The only issue I had, and not a bug really, was me running around for 10 or so minutes looking for that axe on the one quest mob. Turns out the axe was stuck in the wall above his corpse (forge area in Nethergard keep), and the new "glowy" feature of quest objects wasn't showing up clearly. At least on that item. It will take a bit to get used to this, I think the "sparkles" previously worked better, I think. It's been a few months since I played and can't recall exactly.

Well, one bug I've heard about (and very nearly experienced myself), is that Blood Boil spreads diseases to the DK himself, lol.

I very nearly experienced this because I logged in my Ret Paladin.....BUT... I was sitting there thinking "Mmm, Ret Paladin or my DK....?" If I had chose the DK... well that wouldn't have been very fun.

Also, beware of Void Storage until they fix it. People have reported that they put items in and the entire Void Storage's contents disappear and are gone.

Another round of hotfixes. No mention of the new Void Storage feature though. Smiley: lol

Well, that's cute. I got nothing but 11g from each of those quests. Good thing I only did it on 1 character, and good thing this character had 535+ in all slots except weapon (528) as I've heard that the rewards are 515. Not sure if 515 is really worth it (pretty sure most of my characters have better than that), but meh.

But apparently they have a fix in mind but are not "at liberty to discuss it".

Guess what? Another one. I plan on starting playing again sometime next week. Hopefully by then they will have sorted their stuff out.

Quick question: Does running the level 90 version of the overhauled Blackrock dungeon (forgot the name) award anything besides regular loot? A title, a pet/mount or an achievement?

As far as I know, no rewards besides loot. It's not the full dungeon, the final boss (and thus the rewards) is being saved for WoD. 550 blues is about it.

And the loot is somewhat random, as in you don't always get loot off every boss (3 of them in this dungeon so far). Also the dungeon journal lists the loot as ilevel 615 but is in fact only 550, at least for now?

615 might be the itemlevel you get at level 100.

From what I can tell, it seems to use the Personal Loot System, a'la LFR.

When loot IS dropped, it is given directly to the player and both times I've seen people get loot, it was items relevant to their class. This makes me wonder if they're going to do all 5mans that way...

New hotfixes! Huge amount of class balance and a ton of other changes. As can be seen earlier in this thread I was lenient towards Blizzard after the patch hit and the issues kept coming up. But after reading through the massive amount of tuning and bug fixing they had to do since then my opinion has changed for the worse.

Character UNDELETE?!

Oh, god, if this feature is retroactive...

Edit: Also, balance changes look like 12-30% across the board. How did they not pick this up during testing?

It is supposedly going to happen. I have a RL friend, who I didn't know had, delete his Druid because he needed another a character slot. He is looking forward to getting him back.

Does nothing for me. I deleted all my non-used toons before I xfered. It help shave the cost.

I really need to pick a main. I just don't know what I want to do :3

The obvious answer applies: There was not enough testing done on the patch before it went Live.

Surely, Simcraft and junk should have picked up, for example, the "580 hunters struggle to keep up with 540 mages" kinda thing.

I'm just wondering why their testing turned out to be so inadequate. I don't know how long previous pre-expansion patches were on the test realm before going live but it didn't strike me as particularly short this time.
And while there were of course several fundamental changes to existing systems, that can be said about other x.0 patches, too.

It could have something to do with the Stat Squish happening at the exact same time, perhaps. Previous expansions weren't squished, so they didn't have to try to do the squish AND the class changes.

IMO, they should have let up on the class changes a little, and tried to get the squish under their belt instead. Prune the stupid stuff like "Press this button once every 60 minutes for a buff" but let the classes as-is for the most part, and get the squish done.

But no, they chose to not only do the squish, but to also re-arrange entire class/specs for no apparent reason other than "we think it should be different". And some of these changes, I'm not sure I like the sounds of as I said before... like... Arms Warriors and it sounds like Enhance Shaman might be that way too considering what a friend was telling me about them having 2-3 abilities on their action bar... so it is like "hey guys, Auto-Attacking is fun, right!?" ...

I was only using 4 buttons on my DK last night.

I have no idea wtf I was doing on my Hunter. Where did all of their Aspects go?

Also all my toons are 1 tnl. I Qed for a BG, figured I had a few weeks to work on both the new Shaman (to get to 60) and get Hunter to 90 (from 89, he was at 10% into the level...). 1 kill and I was booted from the BG lol.

Having played Wildstar for a few months, I miss double jump and sprint XD

Funny. My Shadow is missing almost none of his normal attacking abilities. The only things I immediately noticed as missing were the Inner [something something] selfbuffs. But the PvE rotation is completely unchanged as far as I can tell. Granted I only played through the event quests and then logged out again. But compared to what you described... Smiley: lol

Ret Paladin was similarly untouched: They only removed Inquisition (YAY!!!) and that's about it.

Otherwise, the class plays exactly the same.

Yet other classes were utterly turned upside down and are all unrecognizable. Kinda wonder where the fairness is in that, where some people log on and have no idea how to play their character (if they didn't mess around on PTR/Beta) but yet other players are able to rock right out of the gate because hardly anything changed at all.

I know this'd be hardly the first expansion ever to do so, but it seems worse this time around than it was other expansions previously. Add to it the Stat Squish that makes the game just feel alien from one day to the next... I'm on the fence if that's good or bad. The good is that it mixes things up for the people whose classes were changed, it is bad for the people who take a little longer to learn what they should be doing and they might feel overwhelmed by the HUGE changes to their classes and the trope "DamnYouMuscleMemory" might apply as well.

I havent noticed HUGE differences in my characters and I now have 11 classes at 90.
~BM hunter lost the poison which is just less I have to hit.
~Assassination Rogue seems the same (except combo points are now on the rogue and not the mob finnaly, looking forward to WoD when SnD becomes a Passive
~Fury War seem to lack decent AoE now, but seem kind of the same.
~Ret is like you said.
~I dislike that Blood Dks lost Blood strike so Blood Dk, while powerful, rotation wise feels clunky to me.
~WW Monks feel weaker but same rotations, lots of speculation that they scale really well with WoD stats and thats the reason Bliz is holding off buffing them.
~Shadow Priest the same.
~My 90 Warlock was free so I just hit pretty buttons and things seem to die.
~Arcane Mage feels OP but the same minus having a few instant cast fire abilities.
~Kitty Druids feel op (solo) and If you dont have full pvp gear are near impossible to kill. 5 combo point bite + Insta heal = 75% of health ish. Had fun boxing a few rogues who thought the could burst me down.
~Enhance Shammy feel the same leveling.

Wanted to point out they when they squished the stats they equalized xp from quests. Xp in jade forest =13k a quest, 4 Winds = 13.1, up to 13.5k in Dread Wastes. So now instead of switching to the next zone as soon as you level, it's faster to burn through all the Jade forest quests, and part of 4 winds 85~90 since you can one shot most of the mobs starting around 87. I was able to level Priest 87~90 in about 3 hours, and Shammy 85~90 in about 5.

And due to the stat squish I was still wearing Cata 2 pc shammy set when I hit 90 because most of the gear from quests was +4/5 a stat but adding in the gem slots/ set bonus made the Cata gear better overall.

Shadow priest is basically the same right now. That'll change in WoD, though, at which point you are going to be tripping over all the shadow orbs you're generating left and right. It's going to be ridiculous.

Like, they barely touched Shadow at all with the ability pruning. I think it's one of the best designed dps specs in the game right now, and the devs are clearly happy with it (not counting damage numbers).

Again, several of the "oops, looks like we missed something we should have squished" entries.

Affliction Warlock and Shadow Priest are even more alike now, it's pretty creepy.
