It's been a ton of work and boy are we excited! Many thanks to the folks at SOE and ZAM who made this possible.

Please poke around, enjoy the site, and let us know what you think.

This can only be summed up with one word..

WOOT!

But, I'll second what Cal said. So many people labored over this for quite some time. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Remember, this is a Community website.. so your feedback is valuable to us. If you find something out of place or just have a suggestion.. smack that feedback link and let us know! :)

WOW! This re-do is impressive! Really shows off the incredible time and effort spent to put the site together. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see when I logged in after work. I'm still happily clicking through links and will find that feedback button ))

Great work everybody!!!!!

I gotta say, I really like the new layout. It is very clean and crisp and most importantly NO GREEN! :)

Great job ZAM and keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing this site turn into something grand. So far it seems that it is going in that direction.

Hi Calthine,

On the frontpage only the last couple of news items are shown.

The old eq2 site also had the option to show the entire newsarchive. I have been poking around but cant find it.
I am not talking about the recent changes in the wikidatabase but your messages with regard to new and/or updated
items, quests and wiki.

i am also missing out an option to see all recent postings made by users.

Maybe i am still dazzled by this great new look that i am overlooking that what i am looking for but i miss those pages
as i use them frequently.

It would be much appreciated if you could help me find my way to this info.

Many thx in advance.

This is a great revamp of this website...

Site looks great.

Pokeing around but can't find the comments that used to accompany the Collection Quests. Sometimes the best information was in those comments.

Also don't see it listed about which zone the collections can be found in.

Thanks

Ah, turns out Collections are handled differently than quests in the game, so some stuff may have been orphaned. I'll follow up on that.

The home page is very different from the chatty/newsy old home page. It will take a bit to get used to....

White type on white background for search/filter criteria is odd....the search/filter is awkward enough without needing to muck with our browser settings when they are on default. <grin>

Most guildies are disappointed with the search/filter 'feature' for quests.

I take it the Zam toolbar is dead, defunct, superfluous and worthless now? Or, (please) is there a nice and simple fix so we can still use it?

The new color combo is sooooooo clean and great on the eyes (except for the search box )) I didn't realize I disliked that green so much LOL!

The amount of info is incredible!

Hello Admin and fellow ZAM users. I love the new site, it's obviously a huge improvement. Kudos! And of course there are a few kinks to work out but that's to be expected for a db site launch. My only gripe is that there is no indication anywhere (that I've found) that states anything about non-premium members not being able to post linked images (ie. signatures images from photobucket). The forum auto-link feature is set on so everytime I try to post an image anywhere the forum thinks it's a link instead of code. The only indication of graphics being premium only is the graphical smilies note and the avatar image information only located in the premium upgrade section.

Was this intended? If so, please make it more apparent in the signature area (even the avatar area) that it is for premium members only THEN link to the premium upgrade. I've spent over half an hour trying to figure it out and find information about it instead of adding game information (stats and what not). It definately did NOT make me want to spend money here. Especially when I don't know if the features are going to work. As is, one would assume they can use, at least, signatures.

I imagine you have a lot of frustrated people trying to get the code to work. I can't imagine that's good for traffic.

Anyway, love the look of the new site. Great job.

Actually, the bit about images is on that Premium page, last item on the first list:

Image hosting with forum posting capability

But I agree it could be clearer.

Hi there - love the new look! Yaaay blue!

I'm sure I'm just missing the answer to my curiosity, but... regarding the data feeds - where does the info come from: players or EQ2 itself? Specifically, if an item doesn't have any Dropped info, does that mean it A) doesn't drop or B) no one has reported anything yet?

Thanks!

It all comes from SOE.

Ive noticed the last few days there have been no updates to new items or quests. The old site usually had something posted on this daily. Is this going to be stopped or is it just temporary until you get the site up and going smoothly?

I have to confess I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW INTERFACE Smiley: mad

I miss the sidebar which for me made navigation so much easier. I hate the drop downs that you have to mouse over ( I think that is JAVA and I hate JAVA) -- the sidebar made finding what you want a lot easier.

Also I miss some categories - we no longer can select the quests BY ZONE. Also there is no list of M2 Spells you could choose when you level.

Yes the data is nice - but I could live without the data if I could have the old interface back instead of this new mouse intensive one. I hate mouse intensive sites with dropdowns.
