I know every class brings some unique benefits for group/raid, but can you please give your opinion which class is the most wanted in the game, maybe which is more rare.

In my opinion (for what its worth) I think Bards are the most rare.

Illusionist are pretty rare, however in basic grouping they really are not important. Healers are usually the ones you see groups LFM on though.

The most rare I would say is swashbucklers, I've seen maybe 4 or 5 over the course of my time in eq2 other.

Bards are probably the most wanted, every groups wants one for their buffs. Healers are always a class needed but theres more people that play healers then there are playing bards.

It's pretty much time/server/level dependant....but my experience (and the eq2census figures seem to coroborate it) is a lack of high level Shamans (Defilers in particular)....Chanters (Coercer more....though Illusionist as well)....and both bards (Dirges/Troubadours). Inquisitors are also rarish.

I'm on Unrest.

Although all healers are useful, probably the most popular (on the good side. don't know enough about evil classes to comment) are the fury and warden. Being slightly prejudiced, I believe wardens are the best all around healer.

Personally, I'm mostly interested in Nagafen server. Are bards as needed there as on other servers? And I'd like to know if swashbucklers are popular on Nagafen.
