Ask the females in your life to run about naked for your entertainment.

Note the results.

Carry this lesson to all aspects of your life, including gaming.

There are a few different ways.

1. Right above the post you will see a hyperlink that says Reply to This. Click on that. It will take you to the post message page. At the top of the screen you will see something that says Markup: Quote Original. Click on that and it will pull the original post into your post. After you hit submit, it will display on the screen as follows:
Mearyk wrote:
Whatever they originally said

2. The next way depends on your internet browser. With IE, you can click the standard Reply button at the bottom of the page. It will bring up the usual screen. From here, you can see all of the other posts on the thread if you scroll down. Highlight something you want to quote, scroll back up to your blank post, hit the Quote button at the top of the page and out pops this:
Quote:
Whatever you highlighted

Notice you do not get the person's name. If you want to add the person's name, or make up your own name for them, you have to manually type it after the [quote] action. So it would look like this in your blank post [ quote=Mearyk the complete and utter waste of space], but will appear like this
Mearyk the complete and utter waste of space wrote:

to everyone else. It helps to know at least basic HTML. Click on reply to this on my post and you will see how everything looks on a blank post. That is how I learned about a lot of the markup on this site.

Also, I said it depends on your browser because with Firefox, I cannot do this. I actually have to highlight the post, copy and then paste it in between the [quote] tag lines.

Okay.... I can understand the 14 year old who thinks nudity is gross. Puberty must be late for this one, but the rest of you adults?!?! This is a fantasy world. Te Victorian era never came to Norrath. Before the Victorian era nudity was not considered a big deal. I mean the Olympics weren't played in clothes. The rule for nudity in ancient Greece was that your ******** had to cover your glands. If your ******** was too short it was indecent. A woman didn't have to worry because you couldn't see her parts, and breasts didn't count as nudity.

Seriously look it up people.

Nudity is a part of history. The Egyptians considered stylish for women to keep their breasts exposed even when in full dress. Rome and Pompey as well. Until the rise of the Christian era people just didn't care. In fact there was still a generally indifferent attitude towards it until Queen Victoria declared that the only skin which could be exposed was the face and hands, and it was ungodly to show more. People couldn't even exposes their necks or ankles. It was during this time that sex became a big deal. Denial creates lust, and fetishism became a part of the culture because of that denial. We still see the effects of it to this day in both the moral majority's sentiments on decency, and the counter culture's sexual promiscuity.

So, other than the moral majority's whining I see no reason not to have nudity. It is simply more realistic, and clearly falls within the lines of roleplaying.

It is NOT sad to wonder what another person looks like naked. Even if that other person is made of pixels. It is the most natural human curiosity we have. You people who would condemn someone for wanting nudity in a game are pathetic. Everyone of you has wondered what your character, or your friend's character would look like naked at some point. You are hypocrites, save your condemnation for yourselves.

To the obvious socks pervs here... if you want nude characters take it to =21 where that level of maturity is rewarded.

BTW, there is a small exploit with... a certain item of appearance armor that will cause females to be topless if done correctly, and shows up to others. Thankfully that item is no longer available.

Wow how right you are! I can't beleive I didn't notice that... and that means that Nihilifer was using an odd combo of search words in the eq2 bar. Smiley: dubious

And also the OP is now a 18 year old perv...so I guess that makes it ok.

lol I didn't look at the date.

Nihilifer: level 47 dead-horse re-animator!

Actually, it came up on a Google search for AoC so I read on, but it's still relevant!
