So ive been playing the trial of the island and am enjoying the game. I decided to buy it but i have a question.
If I buy and downlaod the expansion pack from the website, can I avoid buying the original game? Or do i have to have the original game before I get the expansion pack.

Correct, you need the original game to use the expansion, Desert of Flames.
DoF is designed for character levels 50-60, so it will be a while before you are ready for that. :)
Hope you're enjoying the trail, but remember that is just the tip of the iceburg. The real adventure begins when you leave IoR and arrive in your home city.

Ok thanks for the quick reply. I guess im off to the store to buy the game. Oh and btw, i am on grubb (i think thats what its called) server.
