Raid Party ExperienceFollow

When forming a raid i have noticed two key factors: 1) there is significantly less XP gained by all groups involved 2) there seems to be fewer decent drops than usual like chests. in fact, i don't recal any chests dropping whatsoever due to the fact that w/ a raid it unlocks the mobs.

has anyone noticed these factors as well or have any info on either how to remedy it or heard if they plan on redoing the raid system? i've heard that sony wants people to raid more for regular events and that raiding provides a significant xp bonus as incentive to doing this, but i do not see any evidence of this. luckily, raiding is just fun and you can really cause some major damage.

Well chances are you are forming raid parties to attack "Group" mobs.

There are "Raid" mobs in game that will give both sizable XP rewards and Loot for "Raid" group.

When in the Raid you will see a little treasure chest next to the mobs name with a slash through it. This is actually telling you loot from this is not going to be generated.

This is also apparent when attacking "Solo" mobs with a group, but not as drastic.

Thanks for that info.

is there a way to tell if mobs are raid mobs specifically? perhaps you can name a few examples in the freeport area?

Raid mobs have ^^^ (3 up arrows) and will also say, "GroupX2" or something along those lines. This is how many groups you can engage the encounter with and hope to get loot. If you attack a GroupX2 encounter w/ 3 groups, you will not get any loot. This is to preserve the difficulty of the encounter and to prevent zerging.

I have yet to encounter any raid mobs in my travels in and around Qeynos, so I'm afraid I can't give specific examples.
