Having an odd issue and need helpFollow

So I just recently came back to the game but there is an issue I am having with my pets and mob animations.

Anyway, during a fight my pets will just stand there appearing to do nothing, however the chat log will show that they are indeed auto attacking and using skills. I just don't see any of it happen. With mob TP moves all it does is show the sparks coming out of them as if they are going to use something, but then it doesn't show them using it, but their skills do cause damage. Oddly enough though, I can see whatever my trust NPC's are using whenever they use it.

If it makes any difference I use windower 4, so I'm not sure if that may have something to do with it. Any help on this would be appreciated.

The pet "charge up" animations (red lines) were recently removed in a patch, but I don't think that should be affecting the actual animations of their attack. I don't think Windower should be a factor in this, but you could always try a test attack to see. And if it is, start fiddling with whatever you have active on start. If that proves nothing, it's possible your DATs got corrupted somewhere, so maybe a file repair could help.

Someone on the O forums posted a similar issue. It was corrupted dats. Run a file check.

I really dont appreciate not being able to see the attacks of my Avatars. and worse the enemy they are fighting just stands there too....c'mon SE you really need to fix this. put the animations back. make the moves easier to descern in those delve fights rather than take them out...

you could have made it optional for those players who were complaining to turn off the animations. but honestly to take them out entirely defys any form of logic I can think of unless you're just being lazy

okay so after seeing your responses I did a file check, you were right it was dat file corruption. logged in after the file repair and the animations are back. the only reason I didnt check them before was because the notes said the animations would no longer be displayed

thank you for your responses. I probably wouldnt have checked if you had not said something
