For the past several weeks, I have been mainly absent from EQ. Yesterday, I logged in one of my Bards to skill up his instrument skills. I basically ended up leaving him /AFK in PoK. In 11 hours, he only capped one skill. Has something changed with the last two patches? My Lunar Mutants Bard skilled up all five skills within one day of "afk'ing"
I started playing on the Test server. I was kinda bored and I have a few friends who play on there as well. So, I test copied Gooshy and been tinkering around. Bunch of nice people from what I gather. =)

I switched to playing my enchanter instead of monk with my buddy's mage and found it to be a much more potent combo than monk mage. I had a 7 level lead on him so during the week grinded out crafting AAs while he caught up, then together we got to 66 almost 67 mainly via PoFire C1 and C2. We also checked out Wall of Slaughter and got great exp but kept running into mass aggro problems.
I got my shammy's alchemy trophy maxed (good luck finding about 600 combines worth of dropped mats on the bazaar for 5-10 pp per) and was even able to find mid-level players to give the resultant pots to. Got my enchanter's JC to 255 mainly via cheap indigo/crimson nihilites and maxed brewing doing Brut Champagnes. Baking is at an impasse at 191 due to lack of bazaar mats, I foresee lots of crab/tuna fishing in my near future.

My progression character is stuck in the mid 30s as I can't put in 4+ hour grinds. I don't die often, but a death wipes out 30+ minutes of solo xp and this weeked was 2 deaths with only about 2 hours of playtime on the character (not good math). I'm going to suck it up and go back to guk and group some night I can put in some real time. I'm stuck in no-man's land for leveling as far as my guild goes. A few low characters and then a 20 level gap that I am nearly alone in the middle of.
I did have time to semi afk putter around on dead population live server... where my heroic monk has been hunting fabled. Been stuck in tower of frozen shadow with keys not spawning until the 5-8th clear of the floor. Still stuck on fifth floor. Just bad luck... my brother and I duoed the place once (at a level that it was actually xp and hard to do) and it only took us an afternoon to get keyed from the start to the last floor. Tserrina took a few more tries though.
I have a 55 ranger I'm thinking of dusting off that I moved a while back to Tunare server (think that is where KC mainly plays?)
I'm also really thinking of using my collection of stuff on FV server to start a new character (haven't played there since about 6 months after transfers in allowed). I'm leaning towards a class I've never taken out of the teens: Paladin.

I've got my rogue/druid/enchanter group to the low 20s on AlKabor. The rogue is still handling things ok, but I am glad to have the druid/chanter so I can pl a tank later.

Tunare (7th Hammer) is where I started my first char and still remains my main server. All of my friends have since left for other servers or games. Most of my best equipped chars are still there. I also play on Bristlebane, Cazic and whatever Stromm is called these days (I just look for the Stromm name
). I also took a Troll Beastlord to 60 on Firiona Vie a while back, but the economy there killed my interest. 60 and still wearing some Tutorial armour, really,,,
. Lately I haven't played much at all on any server.

Tunare (7th Hammer) is where all of my 24 characters are :) Haven't been on much lately, but hope to be back more as summer gets here.
