Bloodskull Valley: The Excavation Site

This zone is no longer heroic and can easily be soloed by a level-appropriate player. The mobs are all socially aggro but any groups are small (two linked mobs).

There are three discovery points worth achievement: the Battered Wall, Bloodskull Treasure Rock, and the Bloodskull Arena. Treasure Rock is easy to miss since it is down the narrow pass which is down at the end on your left from the entrance.

I have found six mobs which give achievement. Two of them are spawned by small ring events and can always be found--the Troglodyte Champion and Treasure Hunter Bakrok (see the articles on them and the quest Terithal's Revenge).

The other four are random spawns: Bloodskull Captain, Taskmaster, Warchief and Overseer. I have seen at most two up at a time, and on three occasions two of the same (two Captains or two Warchiefs in two separate instances for example). You also may find none of them or only one.

The Captain has always been on the same side of the Battered Wall you enter on; the other three roam around on the other side pathing around the area by the towers, the arena or even in back of the buildings near the small lake.
