Portal to the Past: Ocean of Tears  

• Minimum level requirement to enter: 70
• Higher levels are auto-mentored to 80.
• Mob level range: 82 - 84 heroic
• Success lockout: 18 hours
• Allizewsaur (level 84^^^) pops after killing the Aqua Goblin Sacrifice near the large statue. Has a huge aggro range, almost zone-wide. Can be kited with snares.

History

There is no flavor text associated with this zone. At the launch of EverQuest, Allizewsaur was a frightening sight to see for any adventurer. He would occasionally wander off of his island in the Ocean of Tears and eat poor newbie players that were traveling on the boat between Freeport and Qeynos. His size was absolutely massive, so that he could walk on the floor of the ocean and his head would still stick out.

As players got higher in level, they farmed him for his gems. He would drop gems such as Diamonds, Blue Diamonds, Black Sapphires and so forth, which would net players a lot of money at a vendor.

	Chronoportals Occurs annually during the anniversary of EverQuest. This event will run from 12am PDT on March 20, 2012 through 11:59pm PDT on March 28, 2012.
