I've searched wikia, the eq2players, and simply searching via Google, but I cannot find any information on how this encounter works.
I've tried it several times (while he cons) and Faroth literally does not lose hp and seems to hit like a train.
I was told that the fight works similarly to the Pawbuster fight. I cannot manage to find an area where Faroth takes damage from the terrain or any sort of debuff hits him.
Would anyone be so kind as to post some information on the strategy behind this mob?

This quest is given by Seeress Bloodhackle in the Splitpaw Den, after you get your Darkened Shard to Glowing Shard status, by completing four quests in the Splitpaw Den.
This quest gives you access to the epic x4 raid zone, The Drowned Caverns: Brutal Acts of War. The Entrance to The Drowned Caverns: Acts of War is at -10, 35, -1.82 in The Drowned Caverns. Climb the pillar, the entrance is in the hollow of the pillar.
Once inside you must kill Faroth Mal.
