I don't know about solo Revenants (didn't see any spawn), but I was able to solo this quest at level 32 (last level quest is still green) with a melee-speced Warden. Just focus on taking out the level 23 Reveants in the area. This is by no means easy, these guys hit very very hard, but it is possible.

Still soloable, look at waypoint 460, -22, 214. They're semi-rare, you have to kill everything in that spot to spawn the soloable versions.

This quest has become un soloable since revamp because the revenant soldiers are all heroics 3^^^...

Quest goes smooth as these skelies re-spawn quite fast; have to kill the soldiers and NOT the scouts. Main location is +306.8, -22.12, +275.61 just before a bridge.

Reward was 18s, 48c.....was worth it!!!!!

The correct location for this quest is at +391 x +13 x -522 or inside Qeynos Tower 2 on 1st level of Thundering Steppes.

I found a journal that claims that one can gain exceptional skill in battle if they face the revenant soldiers in the Thundering Steppes. I shall slay them and find out for myself.

Stage 1

I read that fighting the revenant soldiers in the Thundering Steppes would be a rewarding experience. I need to slay them and find out.

Start:	I need to slay fifteen revenant soldiers in the Thundering Steppes.
Complete:	I have slain the revenant soldiers.

I have slain the revenant soldiers and feel like I've learned quite a bit from the battles.

I have slain the revenant soldiers and have indeed gained quite a bit of battle experience.
