 Life Among the Goblins Trophy: The Tickler |
Lore and Legend quests are started by examining a special book or examining the first body part you find for that race. Either way, you will not get auto updates until you have the quest. The book for this Lore and Legend quest is "Life Among the Goblins". This book can be found can be obtained by clicking on a bookshelf at 283, 5, -245 in the Enchanted Lands or at -120, -46, -815 in Greater Faydark. It is a timed spawn..
The quest requires you to kill Goblins for the auto-updates and body parts (which must be examined). Body parts are also tradeable, so check the broker!

Body Parts
When you have found and/or examined the last part the quest will auto-complete and you will receive:
- Life Among the Goblins - A book you can place in your home.
- Trophy: The Tickler - A trophy to hang on the wall of your house
- Your Master Strike, Smite or Rage skill will now affect Goblins.
The reward for this quest is a furniture version of the book and a trophy which can be placed inside of your house.

When wandering around the Echo-Echo zone in Faydark, I found the book in a house near the startingspot for fae characters. Its in a shelf behind a large desk.

I think this must be bugged, I have raised myself two XP lvls and attained the rank of MAster Goblin slaughterer (or similar), I cannot get the last item to drop, the goblin Spine, I have spent DAYS doing these mobs in and nothing, gonna delete and start again

I can't say if the book is timed spawn or not, it was there when I tried, however this not a book on a shelf as shown in picture in the quest description. Go to the room as described by Whyspurr, you should three sets of drawers. The one you need is the left hand set, mouse over the bottom right drawer and the whole case will highlight, right click to get a 'search bookcase' option to receive the book

This is not a timed spawn. It works like the rest of lore and legend .. kill and collect.

The book is found in one of the drawers in a little room on the log wall by the Tatters scarecrow. Follow the wall until you come to an opening on the right side there is a bridge. Go up the bridge in in the room. The drawer is on the left side.

A little tip with the Legends and Lores. When you get a study item (1 of 5) do not study it ASAP. Save it. The auto-updates go faster if you keep killing with no studying. when I did a few, I didnt study the drop items and the 3 auto updates clicked together. Could be really good luck. But try it out anyways.

what i would really like to know , is WHERE the book for goblins is. not the location, cuz this is really confusing
i've been working on this lore and legend for 4weeks now i've killed 3000 mist grinnins in nek forest and i've gotten 2 of the auto updates and all the lore parts but the 3rd auto update just does not want to click only one i havn't recieved yet is "I need to finda goblin spirit"... could be a bug...

Ok guys just got done with my 9th lore and legend this one was another one of the easy low lvl ones. Yes the book is found in EL in the drawer and location of the goblins are in EL, ant (on the goblin isle to the ne of the oracle tower in the sea) and also you can get the auto updates from the ruins skulkers (the little blue guys in forrest ruins. the ruins skulkers only drop the auto updates so you will have to buy them or do as i did creat a new toon and get the 5 drops and put them in your shared bank and then log on your toon and grab them outta the bank.

Took me forever to find the book. Hopefully this is a little more specific: Go to the north gatepost of the southern-most gate through the wall. (Southwest of Granary Hill.) If you see Chaplain Graveguzzle, you're in the right place. The book is in the bottom drawers of the chest of drawers to the left. Should highlight if you hover over the bottom drawers.

you can only study the last 5 items in the list (so that means only the last 5 items can be purchased via trading)
The first 3 items must be discovered by killing goblins and then it is not a common occurance, completely random.

yes this book IS found in EL both this book and the siren book are here. There are many goblins here which you can gather the items by killing. The ones I've seen thus far are around lvl 35.

The Mastery Started in the Enchanted Lands is Siren. The Gnoll Book can be found At the Gnollslayer Keep in Antonica.

This was on the Isle of Refuge in beta, it was also taken out of the Isle of Refuge in beta too. Antonica is Gnoll not goblin.
