The quest Festering Forest no longer require the hands from the Enraged Gul'Thex Mystics but now require the hands from the Dragoon Sentries.

This quest is given by Szin Te'val after you complete the We Live for the Kill quest (see related quests). You must collect the following items in Nektulos:
- 2 Sullian Fairy Hands - From Sullian Fairies ( -1040, 0, -1841 or -855.59, 0, -1340 )
- 3 Dragoon Sentry Hands - From dragoon sentries
- 1 Treant Limb from a Deathbloom Treant: near -503, 0, -2122 .
Completing this quest opens up "The Weak" quest from Szin.

Master Szin Te'val of the Order of Nektulos has bid me to clean out some of trash that inhabits the forest.
I have rid the forest of some fairies, Dragoon sentries, and treants.
I have delivered the items to Master Szin.I have done what Master Szin Te'val has asked of me.

Since the Nektulos Forest revamp there are much fewer sullian fairies. They are still near bone lake but seem to further south than they used to be, beside the river that leads into it. There were only one or two up when I went searching. One was at -775, 89, -1642 and the other a bit north of that on the same side of the river.
Dragoon sentries can be found near N'Marr's Ascent if you follow the right hand path towards the river, also around the Funeral Pyre.

Sullian Faries are still around Bone Lake. Dragoon Sentries are needed instead of Mystics. Deathbloom Treants are needed, not the deadly version. These are up north of N'Mars Ascent. Kill the deathbloom bees til the treants start spawning.

Deathbloom Treant found at: -567, -1957 in its own little alcove... among the many that exist... you have to follow a ton of twisty hills to get to the area, but its certainly there as of July 5th 2006

I also found an enraged Gul'Thex mystic at -1087.76, 1.00, -672.24

an enraged Gul Thex Mystic : as below, do not confuse with a Gul Thex Mystic, the enraged type are found in two locations - there is one which spawns NE of the East end of the broken bridge (location already supplied : -285, -760) respawn is only about 10 minutes so you could wait it out. However two more spawn at the Eastern end of the area East of the bottom of Marr's ascent - this area also has the 'plain' variety - the enraged ones seem to spawn at the exterme East end of this small cul-de-sac area (location : -550, -1250)

there are some deadly treants above N'Mars but grouped with bees and Heroics. I was pummeled. Fallow the road from CL east and than south will find them there. Much easier

Twenty posts on where to find enraged Gul'Thex mystics and not a one for Sullian fairies. ;)
For the record these can be found at the SE woods area near Bone Lake. I found one wandering at -1040, -1841. Not many but you can find them here.

the deadly deathblooms can in fact be found south of the saplings.. i found them actually south on the moutains right below the pond with the faries and wisp. also its a lower lvl version of the mob. easier fight. hope this helps

The Deadly Deathbloom Treant IS in fact past N'Marrs Accent. The location is as follows (-321.16, 62.27, -1599.11) Not saying that they are not where you said they were (Sarabi) but it is confirmed and positive evidence they exist past N'Marrs Accent at the previous location. I just killed it myself. If it isn't there someone has just killed it recently.

The Deadly Deathblooms are not past Na'marr's accent. We found them south of the saplings, far to the south east. As you coming into NEK from the Commonlands take a right at the first turn in the road, follow the road to the deadly deathblooms!

Ok..finally found the deadly deathbloom treants. They are just north and a little west of N'Mar's Ascent at loc neg296/neg1561. They were solo 26 and 27. The reward for the quest at my 32 lvl was 2% exp and 36sp 27cp. The next quest in this series is "The Weak", also given by Szin.

I've seen the Deathly Deathbloom Treants north of N'Mar's Ascent, and there are Gul'Thex Mystics at the base of it as well as up by the treants. However, the mystics do appear to be bugged since I have killed some at the top of N'Mar's Ascent and at the bottom and gotten no message at all - not even that a quest item wasn't found.

The Gul'Thex mystic did not update the quest for me...but the enraged Gul'Thex mystics did. I cannot find any deadly deathbloom treants; the deathbloom treants do not update. Any one know where the deadly ones might be ? I searched and searched and never saw any.
It's misleading, but the hands only seem to fall from enraged Gul'Thex mystics, not normal ones. The enraged ones are found east of the ascent entrance.

quest seems to be bugged as of today. killed a bunch of Gul'Thex Mystics but no quest update
No one has reported the rewards for these quests? Some are okay ie: books, some are bleh: ie:poisons/coin, but some are pretty decent gear that is no-trade for the level 24-30
