This quest is initiated by clicking on a closet in a tower basement in the Nektropos Castle +56, 0, +81 . You must gather three medallions in Nektropos. They are:
- Book Medallion: Librarian in Library
- Captain's Insignia Medallion: Patchwork Captain (at Maltus' bedroom door, -37.9, +13.5, -28.24
- Hands Medallion: Thexian Diplomats on Upper Balcony
The reward is your choice of bracers

I discovered a closet in a tower basement. A complex lock binds it with three holes for three medallions. The symbols in each circle are of a book, a captain's insignia and two hands of separate nations coming together in a handshake.
I found the three medallions upon three of the creatures in Nektropos Castle.
I returned to the medallion closet in one of the tower basements.I unlocked the medallion lock with three medallions earned in battle with Nektropos fiends. Inside I found rare garments of protection.
Stage 1

got the key now with finishing the 'red marble' quest.

i am solo-ing this quest with my lvl49 wizard.
i have trouble getting the key needed to enter the captain's room to further access the library.
any experiences so far if i can get the key-update if all creatures (except the archfiend of course) are grey?

Not sure about the confusion:
Exit Jenni's room to the hallway, at the end of it take a right, you will come face to face with captain. The room he guards is the princess room where all the Nyth dolls spawn.
It is not the Captain needed to access the basement of the castle on Everling Locket quest.

The patchwork captain? Who is this guy you are talking about? I killed yesterday the captain that spawns in the room that will open the secret passage to the basement (where the 2 flying robots wait for you) but didnt get an update. Is this another captain?

Hey i know they just fixed this quest today and all but the final medallion locket is located on thexians in Lord Everlings Dining Room. Enjoy

Captain Medallion taked from Patchwork Captain. He is at door in the Bedroom of Maltus, aka Princess Bedroom.

The second medallion comes from 'patchwork captain' found guarding the door to the princes bedroom(where dolls of nyth spawn), in the secret passage just past Jenni's bedroom. I'm still looking for the last one.

Got update from the Patchwork Captain in the second floor after the patch today fixing this quest...still working to get the hands medallion right now.

Name of the reward item is `Everling chain bracer` with Required armor stat of 145 and Mastery at 175

Reward for finishing the quest is one of 3 forearm armor pieces; stats are pretty similiar and you can select from heavy, medium or light armor.
Stats for light armor is +5 int, +8 str, +24 health, +24 power, +180 divine, +210 poison
Stats for the heavy and medium varies in the amount of divine and poison resists offered.

as of now, this quest may be now completed. The 2 other medallions can be gotten by killing a patchwork captain outside prince's bedroom door and a thexian diplomat in the dining room on the upper level

I have killed so many mobs in this entire zone it's not funny. This is the only quest in this zone that I haven't comleted. I have cleared all floors and camped many of them over and over in hopes of a rare named spawn. I've completed the Missing Mask Camp for Billy with 5 different guildies and still not seen another mob for this update. The only mob I can think of that MIGHT help is if a mob spawns in the "Prince" room. I've never seen him but there has to be a reason why it's called that.
