I was able to find the Plains elephants lvl 14 and 15 or so at 724.43, -46.04, 217.71

There is no Ivory Tusk reward for this quest. My guess is you got it as a drop from the elephants you hunted for this quest, cause they drop them.

I Just did this quest and only recived coin. Didn't recive no "TUSK". not sure whats up with that but thought id voice it!

The plains elephants can also be found at (360, -48, 0).. just north of the Ruins of Valmarr.

There is a new reward for this quest in addition to the coin, that is not listed - an ivory tusk (Fabled). Not sure what it is good for yet! :)
