This is a Guide Quest. On Live servers it can only be received from a Guide. On Test there are no guides so NPCs exist there to give out the quests. Information regarding Starting Zone and Mob are from Test.

Guides give out this quest during Tinkerfest. They are usually doing it in Gnomeland Security Headquarters in Steamfont Mountains. For Test and Live Exchange servers, speak to Researcher Cogturner at -584,174,933 Copy .

Use your Catalog skill to catalog the following mobs. All are in Steamfont Mountains unless otherwise indicated. All mobs that need to be catalogued are non-aggro, but many have aggro mobs nearby.

• a cargo clockwork spider - found in Gnomeland Security Headquarters around -597,174,991 Copy
• a wayward clockwork gnome - found wandering the grass just outside of Klak'anon
• a clockwork disassembler - found around the big standing gears just outside of Klak'anon
• a clockwork collector - found around the big standing gears just outside of Klak'anon
• a clockwork explorer - spawns just outside of Klak'anon and quickly moves down the path
• a glitched clockwork spider in Klak'Anon (just inside the entrance, non-aggro)
• an impaired clockwork gnome in Klak'Anon (just inside the entrance, non-aggro)

After you catalogue everything the quest will auto-complete.
