Hey sop being critical. I have a 30 ranger who got these for my alt brawler, which I find is a very handy setup. So maybe if you thought about why they might have made this quest you would relize it is not pointless.

The quest is reaptable. This is how I do it.

- Got the broken vessel from killing monsters in Nek forest
- Examine it and got the quest
- Kill 40 leapers or Hatchings, quest updated
- Repeat from step one again...

Horrible reward, shaped iron knuckles that max out at I think level 16-17 from killing level 20+ mobs?! The last spider I needed to finish this quest dropped an advanced tradeskill book, which at 3-ishs to a vendor was better loot than the quest reward.
SOE, please PLEASE stop with the quests that reward items the player has already outgrown and are lower level than the mobs needed to kill. Burpbelly's Charm is another such quest; travel deep into FG to finish a quest for a necklace that has crap stats and maxes at level 10. WTH?

SO the reward item is corect ? I would of thought it was an error, the reward item is a weapon that can be crafted, would of thought Sony would of thought of somethinmg better then that

I got the broken vessel quest starter just by killing the crabs on the beach, it's not necessary to go far in and kill the tougher stuff.

The quest can also be satisfied with the arachneidae around -543, 108, not just the leapers on the beach.

The reward is absoulty terrible compared to other easy to get items for brawlers, the quest is long and feels very pointless.

The Broken Vessel drops like mad on NMar's Ascent. You can satisfy the requirements with forest leapers, or arachnidae hatchlings which are much easier.
