This quest is initiated by examining a hideous troll locket that drops on Freeport Raiders and Cursed Cutthroats in the Sunken City.
All you need to do is return the locket to Jezranaz Rottingskin in Big Bend -53, 0, 26 for coin and a nice chunk of experience.

I found a locket with a Troll woman's ugly face painted inside. I suppose I could find this Jezranaz in Freeport to return the locket to.
I found Jezranaz and gave her the locket.I returned the locket to Jezranaz. I don't think she was too appreciative of the efforts...

I got my locket from Captain Deaythan. It dropped in a Exsquisite Chest along with an Arcane Bindings (Master I) and a pair of his boots...

Ok, I really don't know what all the fuss is about for this stupid locket. I killed some named captain^ 1 time and he dropped the quest starter. Did the turn-in at Big Bend and got some piece of crap with a +2 STA boost. Oh wow, be still my beating heart, it is sooooo........worthless. The quest was still con orange to me when I finished it, so I dinged level 8. Why on earth would anybody take the time to kill 1000 of anything for such a piece of crap reward? Ok, I'm done now....

Even though the Freeport Raiders are no longer in game (LU19), the quest still exists. With a low-level alt, I dropped a locked off a cursed cutthroat.

I also sold everything on my temp alt (Eceophec) after putting the locket in my bank shared slot and ended up with 1g 78s 12c mail to myself with 10c for postage :P

OMG IT ACTUALLY DOES EXIST!! were my words when an chest with item called a hideous troll locket actually dropped at about 6PM PST on my 5th day of killing everything that moved, and it indeed does not have a NO-TRADE flag so I quickly looted the chest after I was finished with being amazed at a drop I thought would never happen. Then I quickly ran over to West Freeport to look at poster and see my kill total...

Let alone I have no idea how many things I've killed in total to finally get a chest with this to drop, but I'll bet it's alot because I've sold alot of Urchin Shields, shadowed bracelets and crabshell rings because I kept running out of room to loot things... I think I had over 300 chests drop from you name it, including a few drops from alot of named before I found this. I'm also amazed the item doresn't have a FABLED flag because it is a FABLED drop as it took this long to actually drop, even if it does drop in a normal chest.
The programers must be really bored because I was epecting a huge master chest to drop. Sometimes wonder if anyone at Sony actually plays this game or if they even have beta tests before they put something in. :P

This is the worst quest ever, I repeat it isn't even worth doing because not only is the reward 1s 13c and some sh*tty necklace... To add insult to injury the quest is actually REPEATABLE... Are these people for real? Took me 5 days just to find 1 :P
I did remember to get a picture of it first before starting the quest because the item dissappears as soon as you accept the quest. So I am submitting pics of all things related to this quest from item to reward as well as my entire drop list for Sunken City, it's the least I can do for SoE after what they put me through... :P

I am now an Initiate Undead Slayer and still killing stuff and have since then just assumed one of three things, the quest is a rumor or the quest starter is fabled (most likely) or it was accidenlty removed from the drop pool with the quest still there (also very likely). I really think a merchant that gives or sells you the locket would be better. Besides there are already 2 Quest NPCs on the Isle of Rust so why not have another? Maybe you'd have to do something for him/her first to get the locket and you could actually START the quest. There is a merchant in Antonica that sells a legendary access quest starter so why not?
Even though I'm still killing stuff, I'm only doing it to find new drops from now on until I become a Master Undead Destroyer which shouldn't be too long from now, since I've gone this far. I'm half way there after trying to get this locket that I'll never get, I might as well go all the way so I can confirm that you do get destroyer title after 10,000 kills. If it drops, yay I can actually do this quest, if not I don't really care anymore, and I thought Graverobber Natasha was a joy to camp compared to this. Originally I wanted complete quest completion but now I don't even count this as a quest anymore. Real quests aren't impossible and actually have a point to them. The only purpose this seems to have is you get to become a Master Undead Destroyer by level 6. :P

This is the most elusive drop I've ever seen, I've killed everything for 2 days strait and have gotten several unique drops, incuding 11 on the small scorpions and 3 on the rust monsters... all of which I've written down and am getting images for here... I've lost count but I think I've gotten over 60 chest drops and found almost everything in the entire loot pools, including 4 twitching clab claws and I still have yet to see the item that starts this quest, I'm not even sure what it's called. Some say the quest starter is called Hideous Troll Locket but this site says it's the quest reward. Some have said they got the quest starter to drop from crabs, some from skeletons, and others from raiders. I'm starting to wonder if this item was removed from the drop pools. If anyone has done the quest before I wold love to know the name of the item that you need to start it.
*sighs* This is driving me crazy. I'd actually be willing to pay a few platinum or trade a few legendaries for one, assuming it's not got a no-trade flag on it. Or if anyone could get it to drop and let me wait out the timer. Actually, what's hideous is the time I've wasted to get this drop. I really think putting in a NPC that offers this quest or sells the item would be better. :P

I took my level 7 mage alt here to try to get the 2 quest starter drops and got so excited when i saw a chest drop called Hideous Troll Locket. I hurridly examined it, thinking i had this quest in the bag so to speak. A quest dialog box comes up with no option other than to put it away. Is there a level restriction or some other restriction, or is this quest just broken?

Can anyone else confirm these can drop from Cutthroats? I've killed over 500 (I know b/c I got Hunter titles from it) an' nothin'...
