The weapon was very weak in comparison to the level of the sewers and even the mob itself. I ended up giving it away.

This quest is initiated by examining a skeleton at -158, 1, 105 in a room in the south middle part of The Serpent Sewer. The skeleton will inform you that he is Gord Smith and is missing his body. He asks you to find it for him.

His body is in the globule room at -128, 1, -149 . Examine it and bring it back to him.

He will then spawn as the Skeleton of Gord Smith and attack you. Kill him for your choice of weapons.

The darnedest thing happened to me today - I met a talking skull. No fooling. Down in The Serpent Sewer, this skull asked me to find his body, or what's left of his body, in the hope that it will put its soul - or whatever it is - to rest.

Stage 1

I need to find the headless skeletal remains for the skull down in The Serpent Sewer.

Start:	Recover skeletal remains.
Complete:	I've found the skeletal remains.

I found the skull's remains. I should return to the talking skull.

Stage 2

Now that I've got the remains, I should return to the talking skull in The Serpent Sewer.

Start:	Return to talking skull.
Complete:	I've given the skull his remains.

I returned the remains to the talking skull.

Stage 3

Gord has flipped his lid. It looks like I'm going to have to put this crazy skeleton down.

Start:	Kill this crazy skeleton.
Complete:	I've killed the mad skeleton.

I've killed the mad skeleton.

That's the last time I help a talking skull. After I returned the remains to the skull, it formed into a skeleton and attacked me! In retrospect, I can't say I'm all too surprised... after all it was a skull I was dealing with.
