Brown-Claw Bears can be found in the Treant Grove, near the Orc Corruptors. This is the area between the Orc Hill and the Butcherblock Mountain zone around 487, 4, -52 . You just need to kill one bear for the update.

When you have your updates, return to Grum, who is still hungry....
