Sage Xoort at The Herb Jar in South Qeynos is paying a reward for everburning coal.

You can obtain this item by killing Fiery Forgotten Guardians in The Forest Ruins, accissible via the "Travel Within Qeynos" Bell. Kill them until you collect two embers and return to Xoort.

Sage Xoort would like me to gather some embers from the fiery forgotten guardians. He gave me a metal canister to put the coals in when I get them.

Stage 1

I need to gather an everburning coal from the fiery forgotten guardians in the Forest Ruins.

Start:	I need to gather coals from the fiery forgotten guardians in the Forest Ruins.
Complete:	I gathered an everburning coal.

I gathered the embers that Sage Xoort needed from the guardians.

Stage 2

I need to speak with Sage Xoort and give him the embers I gathered.

Start:	I need to speak with Sage Xoort in the Baubbleshire.
Complete:	I spoke with Sage Xoort in the Baubbleshire.

I gave Sage Xoort all five embers that I gathered from the guardians.

I gathered the coals for Xoort's experimentation. Turns out to be a good thing that I did. Xoort gave me some coin for the job.

Also make sure you bring friends with you. They can be very difficult as their aggro range seems large and will pull a friend if you are not careful. Your best bet is to have your friends wait outside the gates while you have your puller grab one and take it outside. You can find green 2 /\/\ if you are patient.
