Speak to Malidain Glacierbane at -805, -334, -24 inside a cave on the Daggerflow Glacier in Great Divide to begin this quest.

Take the chipper you made to the Ring War Battlefield.
Open 6 ice eggs to recover the objects. Each time you click one you will be attacked by a 90^^^ befuddled Kromrif spirit. You must chip the ice quickly after the Kromrif spirit dies. If you wait too long you will simply spawn another spirit instead. ^[1]
Return to Malidain, who completes the quest and moves to Icewell Keep in Thurgadin.

For the next quest, seek out Scout Luta near Storm Gorge at -52, -103, 976 in Great Divide.

Malidain Glacierbane believes that there are coldain artifacts preserved inside the blocks of opaque ice that are scattered around the Ring War battlefield. He has asked me to use the Coldain Chipper to tap open the chunks of opaque ice to recover their contents.

Stage 1

I should carefully tap open several blocks of ice on the battlefield.

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a bow inside.
Complete:	I found Kargin's longbow!

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a ring inside.
Complete:	I found a mithril coldain insignia ring!

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a shield inside.
Complete:	I found Dobbin's shield!

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a bracer inside.
Complete:	I found Churn's bracer!

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a tattered document inside.
Complete:	I found the Dain's declaration of war!

Start:	Chip open the ice block with a cracked horn inside.
Complete:	I found Badain's horn!

I tapped open several blocks of ice and recovered the artifacts within.

Stage 2

I should return these artifacts to Malidain Glacierbane.

Start:	Return to Malidain.
Complete:	I returned to Malidain.

I returned the recovered artifacts to Malidain Glacierbane.

I recovered several ancient coldain artifacts.
