Um.. I don't see a Metaphysical Propulser in MY inventory, could it be that i misplaced it or is it too Invisible in my inventory?

After you kill the shapers you will get a "fleshy strand" item in your inventory that you can 'Use' to spawn the Drake Spirit when you are at the drake skeleton. Then just select the Drake Spirit and 'Use' the Metaphysical propulsor on it to get the item that completes the quest.

[note: I did not clear the hill of drakes before I spawned the Drake Spirit and collected the shard to complete the quest. I just approached with invis on and positioned myself so that I had the best chance of not being interupted. Perhaps I was just lucky to get it done that way. Good Luck! Drake spirit

I went up onto the hill and killed drakes for about a half hour, but a drake spirit never spawned. The quest description here says to "use" the fleshy strands in your inventory, but they aren't in your inventory, they're auto updates.

It would appear that the quest has changed then. Can anyone tell what the step now asks you to do in game?

Drake spirit

I called forth a drake and spirit popped, but by the time I killed the two ebon drakes that were in close proximity, he had disappeared, and you can't use the Metaphysical propulsor in combat.

Is there a way to get him back?

Checked with Eagar thinking he might give me more strands, but no luck. Thought maybe if I killed another shaper I might get another strand, also no luck.

Any other ideas?

I deleted "Tap into Power" and since I have already done "Spiritual Side of Engineering, Eagar gave me Tap again, had to kill more shapers, but got it done

Anyone else have issues with the Drake Spirit? I am up to the point of using the Metaphysical propulsor on the Drake Spirit, but there is no spirit to be found anywhere in the area of the dragon skeleton. Is this a bugged quest?

The shambling shapers are NOT heroic they are just advanced Solo MoBs, there is a Differance. If you have the Detailed con system up and there is no Heroic Tag under the name of the MoB then they are NOT heroic. I soloed these No Problem with my 44 Swashbuckler in mostly Treasured and App4s. Granted they do require ALOT more work to kill then the Normal and down arrow solo mobs, but they are infact solo MoBs.

Kill 5 shambling shapers (roams in the dragonscale hills. There's some around -1045.73, 64.72, 1477.84 . These mobs apparently used to be heroic, but are now single-up, solo mobs.

Be sure to clear the hill before the next step.

Use the fleshy strands found in your inventory on the dragon skeleton at -909.21, 99.95, 1363.79 . Target the drake spirit and use Eegar's Metaphysical Propulsor to gather the etheral shard.

If the drake spirit despawns before you use Eegar's Metaphysical Propulsor on it, you will be able to retrieve more fleshy strands by defeating another shrambling shaper and will be able to spawn the drake spirit again.

Return to Eegar Friggderp for your reward.
