I just got my orate hand update off a regular spiritualist, so you don't absolutely have to get the named spawn to get the update.

I was about halfway through with it from before i started the claymore when i finished the Coin Operation quest. I went to delete the quest from my journal so I could get the quest again with the right reward, and noticed the tome was already listed as a reward. I guess you don't have to delete the quest if you already have it and get to this point on the Claymore.

It's a nice little bonus xp if you're camping that area anyway, about an extra 1% per finishing of the quest.

Not so much repeatable as much as you can do it as many times as you want...getting nothing out of it...except for the one time you do it for this quest series.

For the mobs you need to kill. the Awakened Spritualists are placeholders for the named mob you need. There are three of them per cycle if no named.

This quest is initiated by examining the Apparition Chest after you complete the Coin Operation: The Sanctum of the Scaleborn quest. Please see related quests for more information on this series. This chest is a random spawn in the first few rooms of the Sanctum of the Scaleborn.

This quest requires you to kill 4 Scaleborn Spiritualists and Orate Bozar (or his placeholder) in the Ready Room on the right as you go in. After this you have to find the chest again and open it to complete the quest.

The reward for this quest is the Tome of Animatus. Examining it will open the Soul Survivor quest.

NOTE: You can initiate this quest without doing the rest in the series, but you will receive no reward unless you have done the previous quests.

I have discovered a magical chest that pops in and out of sight at the front end of the Sanctum of the Scaleborn. I need to find a way to open it up.

Stage 1

I need to find the keys needed to open the apparition chest that pops in and out of the front areas of the Sanctum of the Scaleborn.

Start:	I need to find gem keys upon the Awakened spiritualists.
Complete:	I have the gem keys from the Awakened spiritualists.

Start:	I need to find a severed hand of an orate in the Ready Room.
Complete:	I have a severed hand from an orate.

I found the gems and acquired the hand of the orate.

Stage 2

I can now search for the apparition chest and use the gem and hand to open it.

Start:	I need to open the apparition chest.
Complete:	I opened the apparition chest.

I opened the apparition chest and took what valuables I could find.

I managed to gain the keys needed to open the apparition chest. I took what I thought was valuable before it vanished from sight.
