Xilla Beetlebinder in the Sinking Sands has asked me to help her gather materials to make her special chitin armor. The armor can only be made if the scarab carapaces are in pristine condition. Killing them in any normal fashion would result in damaged shells that would not work for the armor. Xilla however knows a trick to gathering undamaged carapaces. Xilla lent me one of her special bug zappers, and explained that there is a certain type of scarab southeast of the tarantula valley that are highly reactive to the shocks. I need to seek out these scarabs and herd them with the bug zapper into the tarantula valley. From there the spiders' poison should do the rest of the work.
