Completed this quest with my 23 Assassin, getting in to the camp was a bit scary but I managed to stealth my way up there and then hit my call of the overlord once done, GREAT rewards for someone at my level. Wasn't expecting 8 gold and the choice of items was really nice too!

Completed quest at level 23. Got all the bones in two sessions of soloing the skellies, the quest reward was WELL worth the trouble. Getting into the camp was hard, but I finagled my way through it until finally a level 35 warlock greyed everything out for me.

Did this as a 22 bruiser last night, soloing Cackling Cadavers to get all of the bones. Took a lot of work to drop the skull off, died a few times, but reward was well worth it.

Chest have me 8g 73s ( !!! ) and a choice of an item.

Got 2g 98s (wOOt) as a lvl 26 defiler
- so I figure that lvl 26 must be close, if not the optimal lvl for completing this Quest.

I did it solo - ran all the way up there and managed to get past all mobs without getting agro at all.

This quest should be rated higher. It is so easy and the rewards you can chose from are really great! I chose the wrist reward myself. Only hard part is traveling to the camp and avoiding mobs. But if you pay attention its quite easy.

The monetary reward is dependant on level. At level 25, I received 2.67 gold, while a level 33 guildmate received 1 gold.

Also.. I haven't seen it notied anywhere but I found a trick to getting all the bones. When you add a bone to your quest journal it doesnt disappear. You can actually examine a bone and get the quest, then give it to a friend and they can examine it and get credit too.

So Pretty much your whole guild can get credit for the quest if someone saves thier set of bones.

Once the quest it in your journal for the bone you dont need to hold onto the bone... so just trade it to someone who needs it.

One thing to note about the camp is that if you step in the middle of the camp, you'll spawn a bunch of ghosts you wouldn't otherwise have to deal with. If you stick to the right wall of the camp and follow it around you'll be fine.

You must place Doopy's skull in his old chest.

His chest is located in Camp Leeot (sort of a run down old trailer park) in the NW of Nektulos.

At the crossroads north of N'Mar's Ascent, take the western road. You will travel through Treants and Halfling ghosts (all aggro) until you come to Camp Leeot. In the back of the camp, behind one of the old trailers you will find Doopy's Chest. The /Loc is (170,-1427).

Place Doopy's skull in the chest and you will receive a list of items (jewelry and a belt) that run the gamut of class usefulness, from which you can choose one.
