Crawlers Extermination (The Crawler Nest)  

Did this quest the other day with a 70 Fury, just to get it out of my journal. Did the ring event to spawn the Queen but the quest didn't update after killing it. Same bug I get with the Investigate the Water Source quest. No updates on killing the mobs.

We finished the quest, and the wall that blocked the nest vanished.

I went out to exit, but as my groupmates didn’t come I returned in the nest and … surprise … the wall got back in its place!

We were trapped inside.

I had to use Call of Qeynos to get back.

For the pick-up group I went in with there was me(42 monk), my wife's 41 Templar, a 39 wizzy, 43 bard, and 39 inquisitor. Thought it would be a cake walk. Got owned during the ring event. Second time aroudn we added a 41 rogue. Same results though and this time no mo conned less than white. Leader said he had it on normal but Beginning to have my doubts. I am a better tank than to fall in an event like that...

Just a note: Do NOT pull from the room with the Hive Keeper. A bone wall pops up when the ring event starts. You will not be able to do the ring event if you kill this guys group outside of the queen's chamber. You'll be locked out with a 2hr timer.

Queen Zkchriy is the spider queen's name.

This quest requires you to enter the Crawlers Nest. basically kill everything inside, and the queen will spawn. She is 2 levels above what your group is from what I have seen in the 3 times i killed her. Make sure to bring a well balanced group for this as the mobs sometimes get bit intense and once inside her area and you kill first guards, your locked in till you kill her. Quest reward was bit of exp and money.

To finish the quest get some friends and visit the Crawlers Nest instance located in the northern part the Splipaw Den. I went through it with 44 zerker, 44 SK, 40 illusionist and 40 warden (myself) without any problems. Youll encounter dozens of groups of spiders, mostly 5 or 6. When you come to a room with a lot of eggs on the floor you know youre right.
Theres a plateau in the middle of it with - guess what? - a group of spiders on it. By attacking them youll start a ring event with 4 or 5 waves of mobs, sorry for not beeing exact on that but its been kind of chaotic ;) At the end Queen SomeName will spawn, killing her will finish the quest. She dropped an adept and Woven Shoulder Pads of Fleeting ( 10str 18agi 32hp 320svheat). Reward was around 1gp 70sp. NOTE: This quest is part of "A darkened shard", thus used to gain respect with the splitpaw gnolls.
