This quest is given by Commisioner Dogweed after you complete the Inundated by Evil quest. You are asked to do ONE of the following tasks:

slay 8 Nightblood Tormentors or
4 Bixie Lookouts in Rivervale. or
5 stonehive guardians or
6 darkflight painweavers (South West of the Tower of the Drafling - there's normally a group near the well at -581, 0 ,156 )

The quest will auto-complete on the last kill.

Commisioner Dogweed asked me to kill 6 darkflight painweavers - found them South West of the Tower of the Drafling - there's nrmally a group near the well at -581, ,156

They are generally about lvl 42 and heroic singles or heroic pairs with a Darkflight deathwisher.

Quest reward 3g 6s 3c and is automatic on the final kill - no need to return to the quest giver, except for the follow on quest ....

Well this quest is broken - if you get the Bixie Lookouts to kill.
Some time back the developers decided to make it easier to get to the Draftling Tower in Rivervale. To achieve this they removes the Bixie Lookouts and replaced them with easier Stonehive Guardians and Stone Hive Workers. What the neglected to do was either leave one Bixie Lookout somewhere so that this quest could be completed - sheesh - SOE strikes again! If I was this incompetant at my job I would be sacked!!!!!!

Got to add another quest to this series. After completing this quest ull be able to receive "The Root of Evil".

The quest is lvl 43 heroic task is:
"I need to slay the horrific bramble creature called Hammerthorn"
the reward is a necklace called "Gratitude of the Vale"

+5 int +6 sta +6 str +33 health +28 power +180 cold + 90 heat +90 poison

I dont yet know where to find this hammerthorn and i dont know the level requirement for the necklace. will add the information as soon as i complted the queset!

Evil continues to plague Rivervale and my assistance is greatly needed. Commissioner Dogweed has asked me to defeat an even more powerful source of corruption.

Stage 1

The Commissioner has given me a list of where to start.

Start:	Slay six nightblood tormentors.
Complete:	I've slain six nightblood tormentors.

Start:	Slay four Stone Hive guardians.
Complete:	I've slain four Stone Hive guardians.

Start:	Slay six nightblood firefuries.
Complete:	I've slain six nightblood firefuries.

Start:	Slay six Darkflight deathwishers.
Complete:	I've slain six Darkflight deathwishers.

Start:	Slay six Darkflight painweavers.
Complete:	I've slain six Darklight painweavers.

Even with my assistance I can feel the evil presence growing here in Rivervale.

Though I've done as Commissioner Dogweed asked, I can see that evil still grows here in Rivervale.
