Evil continues to plague Rivervale and my assistance is greatly needed. Commissioner Dogweed has asked me to defeat an even more powerful source of corruption.
Stage 1
The Commissioner has given me a list of where to start.

They are generally about lvl 42 and heroic singles or heroic pairs with a Darkflight deathwisher.
Quest reward 3g 6s 3c and is automatic on the final kill - no need to return to the quest giver, except for the follow on quest ....

I must slay, four Stone Hive Guardians. found them in front of the Dwarfling Tower entrance.

Some time back the developers decided to make it easier to get to the Draftling Tower in Rivervale. To achieve this they removes the Bixie Lookouts and replaced them with easier Stonehive Guardians and Stone Hive Workers. What the neglected to do was either leave one Bixie Lookout somewhere so that this quest could be completed - sheesh - SOE strikes again! If I was this incompetant at my job I would be sacked!!!!!!
The quest is lvl 43 heroic task is:
"I need to slay the horrific bramble creature called Hammerthorn"
the reward is a necklace called "Gratitude of the Vale"
+5 int +6 sta +6 str +33 health +28 power +180 cold + 90 heat +90 poison
I dont yet know where to find this hammerthorn and i dont know the level requirement for the necklace. will add the information as soon as i complted the queset!
