Speak to Shio Laugerwithe at the Vicious Breeding Grounds in Tenebrous Tangle ( 726, -143, 248 ) to begin this quest.

Scribe the Recipe: Wind Komodo Saddle that you just received.
Make a Wind Komodo Saddle on a Sewing Table ( 729, -143, 257 ) . You'll need:

6 horned leather pelts (t7 harvest)
3 hanging roots (t7 harvest)
1 rough lumbered rosewood (t7 harvest)
5 scintillating filaments (fuel, purchase from Chans Ellin)

Speak to Shio.
Click on the komodo at 700, -164, 262 and choose to reach down and pat the creature. This will complete the quest.

Shio Laugerwithe believes that the wind komodos are docile enough to accept a bridle and saddle, but they must be specifically made for these creatures. She has drawn up plans for a saddle she believes will be suitable for the komodos.

Stage 1

I should use the recipe that Shio gave me to make a saddle to test on one of the wind komodos.

I was able to make the saddle, and it seems to fit perfectly.

I made the komodo saddle, and much to my surprise, Shio asked that I try it out first on one of the more amicable ones. It turned out very well, and now I have a wind komodo of my own.
