Yeah I wrote these back when Tombs of Night expansion first was released. Been a while. Plus they have been changing everything in the game so much. Everything in these quest series may differ now from back then, there is no doubt about it.

This quest is given by K'Shar Haelbreng at Timber Falls, and will require you to find some sarcophagi in The Crypt of T'haen.

You have to find them in order.

Athaks T'Laz -114.86, 1.87, 18.99 (On the bottom floor area)
Tanus Q'Banye -36.62, 2.20, -108.78 (On the bottom floor area)
Craet T' Kizt 9.45, 21.22, -116.56 (Around a couple bends as your heading to the top.)

When you locate these Sarcophagi, the named mob will spawn, each named is a level 38^^ with friends. After killing them, you need to return to the dark altar and use the crystal on it. The altar is along the path up to the Crimson Crown and T'Rath at -108.79, 26.76, -7.54

Once you place the crystals on the altar the Guardian of the Altar will spawn, a level 38 ^^ nightblood type guy. He comes with three bloodsworn altar protector friends.

Now return to K'shar Haelbreng in the Brethren of Night encampment in Nektulos Forest for your reward - pulsating dark crystal and four a vampiric incisor. The crystal is the Vampire Illusion item that requires a incisor each time you use it and lasts for 6 hours.

Completing this quest opens up the Watching the Watchers quest from K'Shar Haelbreng.

K'shar Haelbreng has ordered me to enter the Crypt of T'Haen and use the crystal to defile three specific sarcophagi. After this is completed, I am to find the dark altar and to use the crystal on it. After completing these tasks, I am to return to K'shar Haelbreng.

Stage 1

I need to find three specific sarcophagi and use the crystal to defile them.

Start:	I need to find the sarcophagus of Athaks T'Laz.
Complete:	I found and defiled the sarcophagus of Athaks T'Laz.

Start:	I need to find the sarcophagus of Tanus Q'Banye.
Complete:	I have found and defiled the resting place of Tanus Q'Banye.

Start:	I must find the sarcophagus of Craet T'Kizt.
Complete:	I have found and defiled the sarcophagus of Craet T'Kizt.

I have defiled all three sarcophagi and defeated their owners.

Stage 2

I must find the dark altar and use the crystal on it. Once done, I need to return to K'shar Haelbreng.

Start:	I need to find the dark altar and use the crystal on it.
Complete:	I have slain the guardians and the crystal has drained the dark altar.

Start:	I need to return to K'shar Haelbreng in the Brethren of Night encampment in Nektulos forest.
Complete:	I have returned the crystal to K'shar Haelbreng.

I have used the crystal to drain the dark altar and returned to K'shar Haelbreng.

I have defiled the three sarcophagi and drained the dark altar with the crystal, and returned to K'shar Haelbreng. This series of events has transformed the crystal into an item that disguises the user as a vampire. K'shar has rewarded my efforts by giving me this crystal and a starting supply of the incisors that it consumes as fuel.
