During the fight with Captain Hamyr in The Shimmering Cavern he will crystallize party members. Use the Magicamazing Crystal Gatherer to free them and gather a crystal!

Reward: void energized amulet of crystallization - This is a specialized weapon of use ONLY against aGreater Sentry of the Void, one of the two named in the courtyard of Palace of the Ancient One, and it will immobilize him for 5 minutes 10 seconds.

Chipp, Chipp the Thinker recruited my help to find samples of this special crystal substance that he is going to use to create some sort of freeze beam. He was frustratingly vague, but I should probably start by checking underground dungeons for large crystal deposits.

Stage 1

I need to collect several samples of the magical crystal Chipp is seeking.

Start:	I need to gather several samples of crystal.
Complete:	I've obtained enough samples!

I managed to collect what should be enough samples of crystal.

Stage 2

I need to return to Chipp, Chipp the Thinker and give him the crystal fragments.

Start:	I need to speak with Chipp, Chipp the Thinker.
Complete:	I spoke with Chipp.

I returned the crystal fragments.

I managed to get enough samples by using the gathering device on my crystallized friends while that crazed dwarf tried to kill us. Chipp, Chipp the Thinker gave me the prototype weapon...I wonder if it actually works?

I don't see how to edit this, but you do NOT have to do Fella's series, you just need 30,000 faction with Survival Accord to unlock this.
