Make some conditioner to bring your gryphon's coat back to a healthy sheen.

  1. Scribe the recipe Gryphon Fur Conditioning Recipe. Collect your ingredients.
    • The Goahmari Herb is a harvestable shrub in the Goahmari Village. It's also a house item.
    • Brontotherium Meat is harvestable from dens in Great Divide.
  2. Craft the Gryphon Fur Conditioner at a Chemistry Table. It's also a house item.
  3. Polish your young gryphon's coat. Right click the gryphon and select "Rub polish on scales". Keep rubbing until the quest auto-completes (it took 30 times for me).
    • NOTE - If rubbing polish on its scales doesn't work, simply hail your gryphon to complete the quest.

  • 2 Goahmari Herb
  • 1 aerated mineral water
  • 1 ethereal kindling

If you have not done all the side-quests yet: in 18 hours you can pick another training lesson for your griffawn!

If this is your final side-quest: Congratulations! Hail your gryphon pet and you will receive another "Quest Complete!" box where you can pick your new gryphon mount, as well as receive some more experience and money.
