Got this quest last night. It has changed completely. The reward is now:

Whip of the Furies
Wield Style: Dual Wield
Damage Rating: 13.0
Delay: 1.2 seconds
+6 agi, +4 str, +12 health, +20 power
Weight: 2.0

The requirements are different as well. The handle drops off of Murkwater Ratonga. That is all the further I have gotten. The quest is listed as a 29th level quest.

So what did the whip look like? I'd like to see stats on this whip before i start spending money on other types of piercing weapons.

I just finished this quest this morning and I must say that it's the most annoying quest I've done so far.
You have to get updates for the things you need.
So just killing 6 fish and 4 octopus isn't going to do it.
Also the reward is extremely disappointing and misleading.
I thought I was going to be getting a belt for all of that but instead I get a dual wield whip instead... what's up with that.

2nd step ist to get 6 teeths from massive needletooths. 3rd is to get 4 weighs from fetid graplers. That's as far as I got. I killed several graplers, but I only got a nothing found message so far.
