Euphemius will tell you to test some regents at a lake in the commonlands. Go to Pride lake near Nek Griffon station, loc 635, -46, -444. You will spawn a Berserk Golem. Kill it and return to Euphemius.

Reward is choice of Amulet of Animation
Neck Piece
+3 Health +3 Power, +11 vs Cold, +11 vs Heat, +11 vs Poison AC 16

or

Amulet of Animation (same name) which is a Ring
+4 Power +2 Health +11 Cold +11 Heat +11 Magic AC is 16

Go to the lake near Nek station and run round it until you drop the vial you are given and the berserk golem spawns. Kill it then go back to Euphemius. I got xp and a choice between 2 Amulet of Animation AC 16, one for neck or finger slot.
