Quest Steps

Players who have done this quest series in the past can repeat it by simply returning to Thumore and interacting with his sleeping body in North Qeynos or North Freeport. Players who have not done this quest series before should first do the quest Thumore's Absence. In 2012 a followup quest was added to this one, A Dream Adventure.

Tip: For many of these instances, we were able to invis past all or the majority of the NPCs to the lost shards. Mercenaries are allowed in these zones.

Click the portal by the sleeping body in either North Qeynos 410, -21, -189 Copy or North Freeport -73, -21, -76 Copy to zone into each memory.

1. I must collect the shattered piece from within a Memory of Sand.
• Find the lost shard within A Memory of Sand. This zone is a duplicate of the Tower of Moon. The shard is a green sparkle, located at the very top of the building.
• Return to Thumore. Return to where you zoned in, and there is a portal that will take you back to Norrath. Once back, re-enter A Collection of Dreams through Thumore's sleeping body.
2. I must search a Memory of Sky to find the next shard.
• Find the lost shard within A Memory of Sky. This zone is a duplicate of the Halls of Fate. The green sparkle is found down the first set of stairs and a bit into the hall beyond. You cannot invis through this instance.
• Return to Thumore.
3. I must search a Memory of Echoes to find the next shard.
• Find the lost shard within A Memory of Echoes. This zone is a duplicate of The Estate of Unrest. The green sparkle is found in the back of the yard, in a small graveyard. The two mobs by the sparkle both see invis.
• If "a small chest" spawns that does not look like a normal lootable small chest, clicking on it will spawn a ^^^ mob.
• Return to Thumore.
4. I must search a Memory of Scale to find the lost shard.
• Find the lost shard within A Memory of Scale. This zone is a duplicate of Karnor's Castle. The green sparkle is on a huge throne at -7, -70, 176 Copy . No mobs saw invis in this instance.
• Return to Thumore.
5. I must search a Memory of Nothingness for the final shard.
• Find the lost shard within A Memory of Nothingness. This zone is a duplicate of the first level of the Palace of Ferzhul. If you head straight west from where you zone in (there are mobs along the way, but they don't see invis), you will encounter an ice barrier with three troll guardians in front of it. Once you kill these three guardians, the barrier will fall, revealing a small hallway. At the end of the hallway ( 81, 22, -2 ) Copy is your green sparkle.
• Return to Thumore.
