Ghoulbane Empowered  

How do you even GET to the floor Kassar is on? We spent hours trying to do it and the only place that looked like the way up is blocked by an Epic x2 mob.

It seems that the quest once again requires both the pearls AND the enchanted adamantine ore.

Does anyone know what skill level of transmuter is required to create this or if a special recipe book is needed? I have a transmuter at skill 175 and he has nothing like this in his books, there is nothing on the broker, and each time I've sent out a query to any transmuter online they seem to be baffled as well.

Anyone got a scoop on this stuff?

It seems that you must have at least two members in the group and both present in the room where Kassar spawns in order to be able to rattle the bones. Only one of us was able to rattle the bones. When the 80 lvl was there by herself they could not be rattled. Tried once grouped with me and once as a solo and they could only be rattled when we were both there.

There is a minor glitch in this quest. When doing The Symbol in the Flesh, you can talk to Havras "Hack" Scutter *before* completing the needed step in the other quest (even if you already have ghoulbane), where Amares D'Venhz requests that you find someone who knows of a weapon to kill the ghoul. This will cause you to be sent to Gogas, no matter which city you belong to, and without regard to if you have done the ghoulbane quest itself. I am guessing that the intent was to send you there to get the sword, so that once you advanced in Symbol, you could them do the empowerment. This has created a lot of confusion for some people. So, people need to make sure they talk to Harvas only at the point where that quest's page says, after getting the stuff from the bone golems and gorgers, etc.

Adding a link to the Symbol quest from here may be a good idea too, since this is actually a subquest to that one, and it would help people figure out what they are doing wrong with Harvas. ;)

Please add to the quest you need 20g to turn in to Gogas.

Don't know if helps but I found that the consorts on the rafts on the beach were a waste of time for collecting the pearls(Lvl 65 conned Green to a L70 templar). I killed loads of them and never got an update.

If you can find the lvl 68-69 ones on the waterline (blue to me) - they almost always have a pearl. Best spot I found was a rock due south of the bottom of the ramp hear the Hand of glory chest. The 68-69 spawn near there every 5-10 mins.
