at level 29 templar I entered Chessboard room unknowingly to stumble upon this hideous creature. I found that if I stayed near the doorway that he wouldn't aggro me so I just pulled the skellies into the hall to kill them. He doesn't leave room. Or atleast he didn't to chase me. The one in the Atrium ( destruction ) did leave atrium to get me.Scion of Pain in the same room as Caveroot Horror also leaves room to chase you. I haven't experienced the scion in the Well yet.

Poper this today by ringing the first bell on the left as you zone into Stormhold, soled him as a 26 Conjuror but it is VERY close and had to bind him and recast pet half way too as he slaughterd my pet, i wont with pet around 25% HP and me with about 5% (because i got aggro)got the legendary chest (blueish BIG one that always holds a Master1 spell in it in stomhold)with one Ruse (master 1) and some dagger which was named after the scion cant remember exact name... extreemly close fight though

All scions are poped by ringing the bells in the first room as you enter stormhold, you will know if you successfully poped a scion because the floor will shake but if you where unsuccessfull it will say "Your ring the bell, but nothing happens" if the floor shakes you have poped one of the 4 scions, and there is 4 bells, one for each scion hope this helps

I'm a lv 29 beserker. I just bumped into him and he certainly wasn't grey to me. He was lv 23^^^ and aggro'd me each time as soon as I entered the room no matter how far away I was from him.

I recently ran up on this fella in stormhold and he was level 23 and grey to me at level 28.
