Yea, the commander is DEFINATLY not the PH for this guy, as after camping him for a while i logged out to run an errand, and came back in game and saw the commander, started kiting him, then noticed the named beside him, so kited both at once.

Confirmed.

Starting to kill all skeletons around the given coordinates. Got it cleared and didnt have the commander spawned nor did i kill it any where else in the area.
After about 10 minutes off keeping it cleared Incaulebis the Maleficent spawned at given coordinates.

Messed with the orbs for target practice and killed any skell that came within any distance to the crossed trees. He spawned where skel spawns right in between the crossed tress. Took around 20 mins and only 1 PH spawn.

I dont know if his spawn spot changes but if not I kept killing the skel that would spawn in between the two fallen trees and after about 3 spawns he popped in same spot, didnt kill any commanders or anything

Killed by a level 43 Warden easily. To spawn I killed the captain skeleton on the big hill, which later (i logged and checked in 30min) spawned a mightier skeleton commander on the big hill. I killed the commander and went over to the two logs where maleficent pops and he was there. was never below 3/5th health and had 1/4 power left at the end.

I can confirm that the skeletal commander spawned before Incaulebis did. I killed the commander, a few minutes later, Inky spawned right where the two trees cross over themselves.

Also, he has quite a nasty nuke. I couldn't solo him at lvl 43! He nuked me 3 times in a row and nothing I could do about it.

I think his placeholders are the skeletons in the crater he pops in. I went there and killed skeletons for oh about 20 minutes and boom there he popped. There were no other named skeletons up in the area, no special skeletons in the crater. I simply kept the west side of the crater completely clear of any heroic skeletons ( didn't bother with the non heroics ) and the warlock globes and he popped no problem.

Had a guildmate looking for him as well who periodically checked over and over through out the day as she was doing the quest also and he did not pop on any sort of timed schedule that she could tell, so my conclusion is if you want him, kill the heroic skellies in the west part of the crater.

I believe the Commander is the PH.

He was up when I arrived and was in the spot where Incaulebis pops. I killed him and within minutes, Incaulebis popped.

There is only one Commander in the area too, which, I guess, would support this theory.

Spawning Icaulebis the Maleficent can be a really tedious task.
I killed some warlock orb, but i really think all the skellies are PH. After killing them for some time he was suddenly there.

Im fairly certain that the orbs have nothing to do with it, slaughtered all warlock orbs around, and even went after the other orbs that are to the east of the valley Incaulebis pops in and nothing happened. Then after they all started repopping again I noticed a semi-named called "a skeletal commander" kill him and just about exactly 12 mins later Incaulebis popped. Hope that helps.

He is now a lvl 31 with three arrows up.
This mob is extreme powerful for this level. I soloed him as a level 47 Troubador - and he almost killed me. Had about 15% health and 10% power left.

Soloed this sucker last night as a 40 ranger for the CoD access quest..was quite easy bow kiting him. Anyway you can add "Dark Pact (master 1)" to his drop list got it out of a master chest he droped.

he is a casting named mob so he will hit's very hard as most casting mob's do solo'd as a lvl 40 Guardian and it was very close so use interupt stun attack's as much as you can to keep him from casting as thats what his damage is from is his casting hope that help's

Incaulebis is indeed very tough for a lv31 mob. I'm a 38 SK, and he nuked me for over 1000 twice. I was able to get him down to 10% health by chain warding until he ran out of power, but even then he still melee'd for 200+

Just confirmed that the various skeletons are the placeholders. I let all the orbs respawn, and the count of them is the same, but several skeletons in the area he spawns are missing. (Next to the logs with the markable flowers.)

My mob did not spawn after killing warlock orbs. He spawned after we killed skeletons (arisen whatevers, captains, etc.) after twenty minutes of killing. Any mob in the south basin is likely to be his placeholder.

I have been asking around and I have heard from a couple different people that killing the spirited orbs in the other crater next to RoV will make him spawn. Couple of things about this mob. I took him (when I was 31 Templar) with a 35 guardian and a 33 Wizard. I spent MOST of my time after debuffing him casting Cures. He DOTs alot, but he was not all that tough and went down fast.
Second, on another thread I saw a note that says the Spirit Orbs in this area are PH for him. Kill them all and he will spawn.
I did not have a quest for him, just saw him and joined a couple of friends who had never seen him before and we thought he was a new mob. He dropped a chest with an adept and a nice weapon (sorry, don't remember what it was).

Undercon of the century, watch out with this guy! Nailed me for 1190 and the 900 the first try, evaced and went back, and went much smoother, hit me for 400 max. He does a dot also which does -120ish a tick. does also have some attacks even if hes out of power.

This is one hell of an under con.

He's level 31^^ but constantly nukes irrestisable nukes for 400 damamge, even when apparently out of power.
