You activate him by right clicking him and choosing "Knock on Wood". I guess he hates it when random adventurers come by and start poking him, so he killed me in 1 hit.
Anyone know if he has ever been beaten?
If so, I'd love to find out what loot he drops

Contested Epic 74x4 Treant that spawns in the rear area of The Mystic Lake. When you kill him, Korzak the Constructor spawns and attacks your raid party. When Korzak is killed, The Direvine Matron spawns and attacks your raid party.
In short, It's one raid encounter involving three successive names. No loot will drop until the Direvine Matron is killed. At the time of this writing, a small handfull of guilds have defeated this encounter gamewide.
