Yes the Electrified Version is mountable. It looks like the regular sword though, nothing special.
The stats on this have changed, just got it today and it is now +15 Str +15 Sta +10 Agi +5 Int and 80 Health 70 Power. Damage ratings and proc are still the same.

Shady sells the HQ rewards, and a few other major quest lines, but only to people who have completed the quest.
Actually... all HQ weapons and items are store-bought.... by the Shadey Swashbuckler ^_^;

Can someone confirm you can mount the EBBC in your home? There's a good deal of expense that goes along with getting this sword, so I want to be sure since I will only be mounting it. Someone earlier said they could not mount the BBC, but maybe that's because it wasnt the finished version. If you can mount it, does it look cool? :-)

If you are high level and doing a lot of AOE dmg, a Good place for to hunt the 1000 sentients was : bloodskull valley raid zone
As a conjuror 59, i handle the 3 waves in a total of 7 minutes and this gives me around 70 sentient each with wasting the time to search for victim :)

The EBBC has been changed back to 51.5 dmg rating. Me and a zerker worked on it together today and he had SOT done so he got an EBBC and linked it for me.

I am equipping this and using it as a conjuror, my wiz buddy can't, anyone know why conjuror's can use it or is it some bug that I should have shut up about?

No, you can use whatever weapon you wish to kill the BBC 1000. Also, AoE'd some skeletons that got in my way and they count as well. Good place for the 1000 is CL, orcs in the south. Good hunting...

Do you need to actually kill the "sentient beings" with the Inert BBC? Or can you use your normal weapons?

doing this quest level 40 getting it today its ganna be by far one of the best weapons i can get...plus it replaces that weapon i have used for almost 20 levels(sbh) and i got ebon armor and nice stuff so i will be one bad a$$ shadowknight
Is the EBBC mountable? i did many HQs that i cannot use and i never sold them, prefering to use them as decoration.

The electrified bbc, and the regular bbc sell for the same price to merchants. If you plan on selling it, dontworry about the sword of thunder, you dont need it.

I just go the EBBC last night at lev 40, you could sell it for around 60 gold. (o fcourse im not going too, seeing as i am a fighter class) not sure how much the BBC would sell for though. hope this helps Valdecor

Since the BBC is no-trade and as a caster I can't use it, I plan on selling it to an NPC merchant. (I need the money. :P) Is there any price difference offered by the NPC merchant for the EBBC versus the plain BBC?

When you do the quest without the sword of thunder , do you only loose the proc or does the blade become of lesser quality ?

I got this sword a few days ago and can say it absolutly rocks!, its useable at lvl 44 which i was when i got it, pretty much only weapons ive seen that beat it are prismatic and very few master chest drops, so for person that asked is it worth the trouble, definatly, only hard part of the quest is getting the ebon but ud need that if u decided to go for crafted ebon weapon too, rest of the quest i did in about 5 hours, thats including the 1000 kills part. also at lvl 45 the proc averages around 95dmg a pop, and average normal combat hits with it are 110-120dmg with the ocassional 190dmg hits, very nice for non specials

Haven't got one of these myself but saw another player carrying one when i inspected him. Damage was something like 58-198 with plenty of stat bonuses!!!! So this things a bit of an animal.

Speed is actually 2.3, and is nice with haste items, FBSS, etc.

the sword looks like it does little damage because a priest of some sort was probably examining it it normally does i think its 175 or 200 at lvl 52

It says Base Damage 30-89, so I'm going to guess a caster submited the picture, and it shows the damage that they would do if they could use it. It will do much more for a fighter type

can someone vouch for the proc on this thing, cuz it seems like the wep I use (Shiny Brass Halberd) does a hell of a lot more dmg than this does
