If Zannas happens to be up when you are doing the Heritage Quest War and Wardrobe and you get this key, it will keep the elementals from spawning at the chessboard in Butcherblock Mountains as long as the person holding it is the one who triggers the trap at the chessboard. Then it will disappear from your inventory. (It appears to be tradeable, at least when I just looked at it on another character it was not marked no-trade.)
